A significant step towards better work-life balance: Since spring 2025, employees at the production site in Swarnabhoomi, southern India, have had access to a company-run nursery. Previously, highly qualified and committed female employees often did not return to work after marriage or the birth of a child – mainly due to a lack of childcare options. The new nursery directly addresses this need.
Professional childcare is provided by staff arranged through a local hospital, with whom ZWILLING India has established a partnership. In addition, a nurse is always available in the factory’s medical department to provide support if required.
With this initiative, ZWILLING India is creating new opportunities for women and demonstrating genuine responsibility in a context where family-friendly policies are far from the norm.
