INGREDIENTS

Dough

  • 300 g (10 oz) wheat flour
  • 15 g (0.5 oz) fresh yeast or 1 packet (7 g) of dry yeast
  • 150-180 ml (5-6 fl oz) lukewarm water
  • 1 hect. tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • wheat flour to work with

Topping

  • 120 g (4 oz) strained or chunky tomatoes
  • 1 heaped tsp pizza seasoning
  • salt, pepper
  • 120 g (4 oz) grated cheese, e.g. pizza cheese
  • toppings as desired (e.g. salami, ham, mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, peppers, etc.)

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Knead the flour, yeast, water, salt and olive oil into a smooth yeast dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for at least 1 hour, until its volume has increased significantly.
  2. At the end of the rising time, knead the dough again on a lightly floured work surface, divide into four equal portions and roll out round or square patties, slightly smaller than the grid of the air fryer. Prick several times with a fork to make them rise evenly.
  3. For the topping, season the tomatoes with salt, pepper and pizza seasoning and spread on the pizzas. Sprinkle with grated cheese and top with the chopped ingredients as desired.
  4. Place the topped pizza on the grid in the ZWILLING air fryer. Bake in the "Pizza" program at 170 °C for approx. 12-15 minutes, depending on the desired crispiness, and remove. Bake the remaining pizzas in the same way, but reduce the baking time by approx. 2-3 minutes, as the hot air fryer is already heated up.

Tip

If you are in a hurry, you can also use pizza dough from the supermarket.
