INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g mainly waxy potatoes
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices about 0.5 cm wide and into 0.5 cm thin sticks. Put the sticks in the water for at least 30 minutes. Then remove, drain and pat dry.
  2. Thoroughly mix the potato sticks with oil, salt and paprika powder and distribute evenly on the grid of the hot air fryer. Bake in the ""French fries"" program (200 °C) for approx. 15-18 minutes, depending on how brown you want them to be. Halfway through the time, turn the fries by shaking them vigorously.
  3. Remove the crispy fries after the time has elapsed, salt again if necessary and serve immediately. Serve with mayonnaise or ketchup.

Tip

Potato wedges can also be prepared instead of French fries. The baking time then changes to around 18-20 minutes.
