Your blender – lots of goodies, easy to clean

Pesto, shakes and smoothies – they taste so great, however they leave so many marks on your kitchen appliance. Typically you are left with a mix of fruit, vegetable and drink residue that needs cleaning off your blender.

By cleaning it carefully, you can – and this is generally true for all kitchen appliances – extend the life of your blender.

Quick blender cleaning, made simple

The ZWILLING ENFINIGY blender jar with the lid and the original ZWILLING blades, which finely chop everything, come into heavy contact with your ingredients. They, therefore, require special attention and are best cleaned after each use. You can clean the blender base with a fat-soluble detergent and a damp cloth if necessary.

Did you know?

The ZWILLING ENFINIGY Table and Pro blenders have their own cleaning program. To do this, simply add 500ml of lukewarm water and a drop of detergent to the container, put on the lid and start the cleaning program. The self-cleaning process is initiated at the touch of a button and works at different speed intervals. The results are also very impressive!

How to get that extra deep clean

So far, so good as far as blender cleaning right after use is concerned. But what about stubborn stains, discoloration, and limescale? All of that can happen – you'll get rid of it all with simple household remedies:

Remove discoloration with cooking oil:

Pumpkin, beet or carrots – these are all such delicious and healthy things, but they can discolour your blender. Still, don't be afraid to use these vitamin bombs in your next smoothie or shake. Because you can clean your stand mixer of their residue by taking a household cloth with cooking oil and wiping out the blender jar properly with it.

Clean the blender with a brush:

If you want to clean the blades in your blender, make sure you are careful. To protect your fingers, we recommend that you use a small brush to apply simple washing-up liquid to the blades and rinse them with water.

Clean the blender in the dishwasher? – Better not!

As you can see: we have not mentioned dishwashers. Vinegar, dishwashing liquid – There are plenty of effective and ecological home remedies that you can use to clean your blender.

If you consistently rinse with warm water directly after use, that's enough for common leftovers, meaning you don't need the dishwasher at all.
