Not impressed
We got the toaster through airmails and right out of the box it did not work - the elements would not heat up at all. We contacted airmiles who referred us to Zwilling for Warranty. After a few emails, Zwilling asked me to send a video to them showing them that it did not work, which I did. Then after no reply from Zwilling I sent a followup email to which they replied that I would have to ship the product back to them at my cost and that they would take 6-8 weeks to look at the toaster. This is a brand new toaster that does not work - it has not toasted even one slice of bread. I have sent a video to show that it does not work - why do I have to spend the money to send it back to them and then wait for 6-8 weeks without a toaster? Not Impressed!

Beautiful Chonky Toaster
This toaster is a counter design element, it toasts just like other toasters, its features are that it toasts bread and bread like objects based on the duration selection knob. The element design/ quality control method does not leave uniform toasting colour; but the toast is sufficiently toasted as a whole. The soft end of cycle ejection is a very nice feature. Overall, this toaster was bought for looks, it toasts like most good toaster, but is on the hot side (pictures are Canadian white sandwich bread on darkness setting 2).

Disappointed
We waited months for the two-slice toaster to return to stock and were excited to finally receive it. After having read about its quality and consistency, we are disappointed.
The toaster looks fantastic but toasts unevenly and inconsistently depending on the type of bread. The only consistent feature is that it overcooks on the inside bottom surfaces.
We are seriously considering returning this appliance.

Lighter duty than expected for the price.
I feel this is lighter duty than I expected for the price. Toasting is even and fast. Toaster itself is lighter than expected and the outside gets pretty hot when toasting.
The first time you use it, you have to set the highest temp twice and you can't touch the outside of the toaster as it's too hot.
The feet are the same height as the cord so moving it back and forth under the cupboards when in use gets it a bit tippy if you don't watch the cord.
Performs well overall and looks good on the counter.

Beautiful toaster that doesn’t toast…dries out everything…bagels/waffles/bread you name it. Tried to return it today but now it’s ‘used’ so no refund. So much for standing behind their products

I'm disappointed...but the toaster is excellent!
First, the toaster is first class. Smooth operation, high end look and feel, it toasts evenly and quickly. However moving from a toaster oven, I did not consider the size of the slot in my decision. My "go to" low carb bread is only slightly longer then the standard, but it sticks out of the top of this toaster and of course does not properly toast. I should have opted for the long slot model, but I have opened and used this one now so it cannot be return.
I am thrill with the product and highly recommend it. Just be aware of your intended use.
I also received two double walled coffee cups as part of a promotion. These are also excellent and live up the the Zwilling standard. I will be buying more of these!

Sleek and elegant meets suberb functionality
We toast bread every day. This toaster was purchased to replace another toaster we had for many years. My hope is that it will work reliably for many more years to come. It is simply elegant, and well-designed and built. The toaster lift button feels strong and sturdy (not cheap and filmsy). The element heats up immediately to the desired level without burning or undercooking the bread.

Beautiful but flawed
This is a beautiful toaster, it’s sleek and clean. Unfortunately after a few months the top of the toaster will start to crack. Top is plastic and within time the plastic begins to breakdown as it can’t handle the heat. Had to replace 2 toasters within 18 months. Grateful for the warranty however how long with my 3rd one last.
