Description
A design piece for daily use: The premium kettle in modern ZWILLING design with heat insulation. The dual-wall body also keeps heat inside the 1850 watt kettle longer while keeping the outside cool to the touch. Moreover, the lid opens to a maximum of 70 degrees to prevent direct contact with hot steam. The seamless, 1.5 l stainless steel container is also extremely easy to clean and the built-in limescale filter – also partially made with stainless steel – ensures better flavour. The snug-fit filter also seals the spout when the lid is closed, thereby keeping spillage to an absolute minimum even when the kettle is accidentally knocked. An additional safety feature is the built-in dry boil and overheating protection that automatically switches off the kettle to prevent damage to the heating element. Removing the kettle from the docking station also automatically switches it off. The docking station with cord wrap also facilitates easy storage.

Almost Perfect
I very much love this kettle, everything is good with the kettle with the exception that on random days it over boils. What I mean by this is, it will boil so hard that water comes out. Even when it is fully shut and there is only 0.5L of water or less. How can it boil so hard to do that. When this happens my entire counter is flooded with water along with some other electronics that also gets splashed with boiling water. I hope the company can fix this for me.

LIKE: full stainless steel interior (including the limescale filter which is so rare!), sleek and clean exterior design, and good temperature choices.
DISLIKE: constant after-care to try and avoid rust forming around the temperature gauge as was warned by many other reviews decreases the convenience of having an electric kettle. I will try and seen if I can update this review based on how long this kettle holds up without any rust.

An elegant, well-designed kettle
The kettle is not only very pleasing to look at, it is well balanced so pours well. It has clear water markings inside (for both left and right hand filling) and is switched on by touching the desired temperature on the digital display. While the kettle is heating, one can see what temperature the water has reached, so can judge how close it is to the desired final temperature. The kettle is quiet with a clear, not overloud beep when it turns off.

Safety hazard
First time using this product, I filled the water to the max with some vinegar to clean the kettle. When the water started to boil, it started to spit out hot water from the spout. Made a mess everywhere. I tried again with the water filled only half way up, and again, the water started spilling over once it started to boil. This is a real safety hazard. Not sure if others have had a similar experience, but I will be returning mine.

Very Satisfied Purchase
Received our purchase of the kettle and toaster Aug 2021. We use the kettle and toaster every day and they have worked like the first day that we got them. Absolutely no sign of wearing, after a little over two years. When we did our kitchen reno, a friend of mine had come over and he didn’t even look at our new kitchen… but went straight to Zwilling appliances and started asking me questions about them. I got a chuckle about that.

So far so good
Just received my product in mail. My kettle is not exactly the same as the pictures. On the bright side, the small grate that covers the spout is completely steel (no plastic rim). On the down side, I am in Canada and the unit I received has the temperature in Fahrenheit—I don't think I'll return it for this reason, but I also may not have made the purchase had I known. Given the price, I expected it to be perfect.

Well-designed kettle!
A sophisticated addition to our countertop. Makes brewing tea at various temperatures a breeze with the sleek glass top controls. We love the single piece construction on the inside, the heat retention and cool touch of the double walled body, and the wide top opening that enables easy access for a variety of uses.
All in all a functional and aesthetically superior, well-designed piece.

Looks pretty and does the job!
Love the size and look of the kettle, its definitely a splurge for me but i do overall like that it doesnt look awful in my kitchen. The power button is a little annoying because you have to keep it pressed for a few seconds to get the kettle to switch on. There isn't an auto switch off feature either, meaning each time you've boiled water you need to manually turn off the power using the power button.

The best no plastic kettle I could find
This kettle is fantastic if you are looking for a completely NO PLASTIC electric kettle. There are so many kettles out on the market that advertise no plastic, but in fact have so much plastic on the inside of the kettle that makes contact with the boiling hot water, defeating the purpose.
The Zwilling Enfinigy electric pro kettle is completely stainless steel on the inside, including the underside of the lid and the sieve filter at the spout. The only TINY bit of plastic is on the top side of the lid near the spout, but because this is where the steam releases, it is not a concern to me.
The touch controls and temperature controls are fantastic and this electric kettle can boil water within 5-7 minutes easily. So convenient to use quickly in the morning to get some hot water for tea or coffee before heading out to work. Love this electric kettle!

Beautiful and Functional
I love the sleek look of the kettle, that everything in contact with the water is metal and not plastic, and the glass-covered controls. It makes for easy cleaning and maintenance. It boils water quickly (much quicker than boiling it on my stove - can't compare to other electric kettle brands because I haven't had one in years) and the "keep warm" function is handy too. Haven't had much use for the lower temp functions yet as I use mainly boiling water for drinks and food prep, but I'm confident I'll be using the lower temp ones with more time. The outer layer of the kettle isn't as cool as I imagined it to be once water is boiled (I was expecting room temp), but it's definitely not hot and is safe to touch which I appreciate. After 1 month of use (anywhere from a few times a week to a couple of times a day), no rusting (yet) on the inside bottom that a few others have experienced, but I also ensure that the kettle is empty and dry in between uses as the instructions state so I'm sure that helps.
A few nitpicky things:
- I wish there was a way to silence the beeps or at least adjust the volume. It's fine during the day, but it's quite loud early in the morning. I live in a small condo unit so the beeping noise carries into the bedrooms which isn't ideal when people are still asleep.
- I bought this at a local store (in Canada) because it was on sale and cheaper than buying online, but the temp scale is in Farenheit and not Celsius (so odd - why didn't the store buy the ones in Celsius???). Would be handy to have a button to change it from one to the other rather than having to buy the specific temp scale.
- I wish the lid would open up just a tad more for easier filling.
Overall, a great unit and I'm happy with my purchase so far. I hope it lasts years, especially considering the price!

Stainless Steel Everything! 1 Problem, Burnt Spots
Bought the Enfinigy Stainless Steel Programmable Kettle 1016120 on November 28, 2023 from Hudson's Bay's website. I love how everything inside the kettle is just stainless steel, which is reassuring. Compared to the product photo in the Zwilling website, the strainer at the top of the kettle is also stainless steel. No worries with boiling plastic materials in kettles now. Only problem is that when I boiled the kettle at 212 F to clean it before using it for the first time, burnt brown spots/stains were already visible on the interior bottom of the kettle.
I contacted customer service and they stated: no metal is completely stainless and in certain environments, corrosion can occur. Hard water can also cause stains on stainless steel but is usually easily removed by rinsing, drying, and storing preferably at room temperature storage. Alternatively, a cleaner with baking soda and water can be made. Most minor stains can be easily removed if caught early before any further damage can occur.
In my experience so far, also through researching the internet, adding baking soda into a paste with little water on the base of the kettle overnight helps remove the stain after rinsing it the next day. Decalcifying the kettle with some vinegar and water, according to the kettle's manual, also helps remove brown spots and prevent hard water calcification.
Nevertheless, the stainless steel kettle's programmable temperatures work wonders. Too bad it's only in Fahrenheit as we use Celsius in Canada. I love how the current temperature in Fahrenheit is indicated based on the light source from 212 F to 140 F. It gives you knowledge what temperature your kettle is set in, even when you press to hold the temperature, the light source indicates what temperature it's reduced at.
This kettle is very beneficial if you drink teas that have variable temperatures to steep it with. No more boiling water in a pot on the stove or worries with micro-plastics leaching into boiling water!

Great sales rep at Niagara on the lake store
I have just opened the product and not able to provide much feedback. However, we went to the Niagara on the lake outlet store, they sold out this on sale product. The sales rep spent her time to work out the other store inventory and aligned with our trip to get the product on our way back home that I know she did not get the commission. It is really an amazing service.

I bought this kettle 1.5 weeks ago and it now won’t turn on. I’ve wiped with lint free cloth on bottom of kettle, base unit top and bottom but nothing. Sometimes it will beep once then turn off. What troubleshooting can I do before returning for refund
