Description
A design piece for daily use: The premium kettle in modern ZWILLING design with heat insulation. The dual-wall body also keeps heat inside the 1850 watt kettle longer while keeping the outside cool to the touch. Moreover, the lid opens to a maximum of 70 degrees to prevent direct contact with hot steam. The seamless, 1.5 l stainless steel container is also extremely easy to clean and the built-in limescale filter – also partially made with stainless steel – ensures better flavour. The snug-fit filter also seals the spout when the lid is closed, thereby keeping spillage to an absolute minimum even when the kettle is accidentally knocked. An additional safety feature is the built-in dry boil and overheating protection that automatically switches off the kettle to prevent damage to the heating element. Removing the kettle from the docking station also automatically switches it off. The docking station with cord wrap also facilitates easy storage.

Stainless Steel Everything! 1 Problem, Burnt Spots
Bought the Enfinigy Stainless Steel Programmable Kettle 1016120 on November 28, 2023 from Hudson's Bay's website. I love how everything inside the kettle is just stainless steel, which is reassuring. Compared to the product photo in the Zwilling website, the strainer at the top of the kettle is also stainless steel. No worries with boiling plastic materials in kettles now. Only problem is that when I boiled the kettle at 212 F to clean it before using it for the first time, burnt brown spots/stains were already visible on the interior bottom of the kettle.
I contacted customer service and they stated: no metal is completely stainless and in certain environments, corrosion can occur. Hard water can also cause stains on stainless steel but is usually easily removed by rinsing, drying, and storing preferably at room temperature storage. Alternatively, a cleaner with baking soda and water can be made. Most minor stains can be easily removed if caught early before any further damage can occur.
In my experience so far, also through researching the internet, adding baking soda into a paste with little water on the base of the kettle overnight helps remove the stain after rinsing it the next day. Decalcifying the kettle with some vinegar and water, according to the kettle's manual, also helps remove brown spots and prevent hard water calcification.
Nevertheless, the stainless steel kettle's programmable temperatures work wonders. Too bad it's only in Fahrenheit as we use Celsius in Canada. I love how the current temperature in Fahrenheit is indicated based on the light source from 212 F to 140 F. It gives you knowledge what temperature your kettle is set in, even when you press to hold the temperature, the light source indicates what temperature it's reduced at.
This kettle is very beneficial if you drink teas that have variable temperatures to steep it with. No more boiling water in a pot on the stove or worries with micro-plastics leaching into boiling water!

Great sales rep at Niagara on the lake store
I have just opened the product and not able to provide much feedback. However, we went to the Niagara on the lake outlet store, they sold out this on sale product. The sales rep spent her time to work out the other store inventory and aligned with our trip to get the product on our way back home that I know she did not get the commission. It is really an amazing service.

Amazing kettle!
I really like this kettle! It has so many different settings that you can set according to your beat preference. It is very easy to use and it is easy to keep clean. The outside looks beautiful with the gold colour. I love seeing in on my countertop every morning! Well worth the purchase! I would recommend this to anyone looking into finding an amazing kettle!

Does the job while looking great
This kettle looks fabulous on my counter and is delightfully fast at boiling water compared to the one it replaced. And I’m quite happy with how the design of the kettle manages to keep the exterior from getting hot. It did surprise me by being slightly larger than I’d expected from the product photos, but that’s wasn’t a problem. Just something unexpected.

Rusted in a couple months! Warranty does NOT cover
It's sad to say that a pricy kettle got rusted a couple months after. We reached out to Zwilling and they confirmed that this is not covered by warranty and that we can try to get rid of the rust with baking soda/vinegar. They don't cover the shipping cost for sending the item to them for evaluation. What a joke and such bad service! Don't buy this kettle.

Great looking kettle. Textured stainless exterior is smudge/fingerprint free so always looks clean.
Lots of feature I never knew I needed.
Multiple water temperature settings. Keep warm feature is really cool. Have not got kids but has a bottle warm feature which would be great. Feels very well made.

I absolutely love this kettle!
My husband is an avid tea drinker and I love hot water and the varying temperatures is such a nice feature along with it being double insulated makes it safe for the kids grabbing stuff off thr counter. What i really enjoy is how fast and QUIET it warms up that wfh we can make our drinks in record time between meetings and calls.

great while it lasted
this kettle had a lot of excellent features and was a pleasure to use for the time it worked but it completely stopped working within a year. As other reviewers have said, it also has a major rusting issue. Customer service has not been great either. For the price, and for the Zwilling name, one would expect much better quality.

This Zwilling kettle is absolutely simple, minimalism and yet very functional. I like the design and the big volume of it. I always wanted to have a kettle that keeps the water warm so I can have tea anytime. Until I found this one! Hesitated choosing between black and silver. Both color looks stunning. I would recommend it!

This is both a beautiful and functional kettle that adds sophistication and precision to your daily coffee, tea and food preparation. Beautiful functional Kettle!
Love the design and functionality of the kettle especially the keep warm function. Heat up quick and consistently. Only design flaw i found is if you’ve just boiled water and you use the handle button to open the lid, hot water drops will fall on your hand from inside the lid that goes up. Aouch.. that’s the only flaw.

Bad product
It's a useless product! A water kettle that rusts so quickly with hardly any use! it's like buying a boat that sinks and can't sail or a car with an engine that doesn't run!
This product should be banned from being sold in Canada! it doesn't meet safety standards!

This Kettle is Awesome!
I love the simplicity of use, the seamless design, and the totally stainless steel interior which is actually hard to find. I didn’t think I would like the glowing touch-buttons, but actually, they add to the ease of functionality and it looks good next to my black and stainless steel appliances.

So far so good!
We just purchased this and only used it a few times but we’re very happy with it so far! I love that there is absolutely no plastic on the inside where the water boils and that it’s big enough to heat/disinfect baby bottles. It also comes with a warranty, which is great! So far, zero complaints!

Very sleek looking with many different temps for different needs including baby food which is convenient. My only negative thing about it is that when it is finished boiling the panel has to be turned off manually by pressing the button. I think it should time out after 5-10 mins.

rusted after 2days of use
I had my first one rusted so requested for replacement and after a year of back and forth communication/wrong replacement sorted out I finally got the right replacement with the same issue!! I am requesting for refund now. Terrible quality! Very disappointed!

Heats water in no time!
We use this at least once a day. The kettle heats up water very quickly with many preset temperatures to choose from. Also, there is no exposed metal components inside the kettle, which extends its lifespan. The LED indicators are very modern and futuristic!

Brown spots inside
After using it only a handful of times, brown spots started to develop around the raised disc inside the kettle. It did not come off despite cleaning with vinegar solution as advised by the company's instructions booklet. Otherwise very fast boiling times.

Modern kettle
This kettle is modern in design which fits well with my kitchen. The internal layer is stainless steel without electric coils exposure. For that, I can let boiled water cool in the same kettle which is safe for my family to pour cooled water later.

Mom approved!
I got this kettle for my mom for Christmas, and we love that it keeps the temperature at the exact degree that we boiled it at. It saved us a lot of time from re-boiling water, especially when we have meetings and we tend to forget about the water.

Sleek and beautiful kettle
This kettle is beautiful! The inside is all one piece and solid stainless steel so there are no plastic parts to heat up. It is quiet, and the outside stays fairly cool to the touch. I wish it could convert to Celsius but we’ll get used to the F.

The kettle has a great modern look, same as on the advertisements. It’s easy to clean and use. I especially like the pre-defined temperatures since I like drinking tea and don’t want to have boiling water. It has a good stand somit won’t flip.

So much safer and great for babies
I can't tell you how many times I've burned my hands reaching for the kettle and touching the body of it. I love that it's cool to the touch and I can warm baby bottles and baby food. It helps to eliminate all the baby items on my countertop.

Love the selection of temperature... BUT
Lovely kettle - cool to touch, the 175F setting is perfect for brewing green tea. However the bottom of the inside of it is starting to rust which is concerning. Am not thrilled with having to drink tea from a rusting kettle.

I bought this kettle 1.5 weeks ago and it now won’t turn on. I’ve wiped with lint free cloth on bottom of kettle, base unit top and bottom but nothing. Sometimes it will beep once then turn off. What troubleshooting can I do before returning for refund
