Grapefruit and Rosemary Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 sprigs of rosemary
  • 4 pink grapefruits
  • 2 limes
  • 50 g sugar
  • 200 g red watermelon flesh (roughly cubed)
  • Coarse sea salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Grapefruit slices and rosemary for decoration

Preparation

  1. Wash rosemary, pat dry and strip off the needles. Peel grapefruits with a knife and add to the blender along with the rosemary, sugar, watermelon and water. Season with a pinch of sea salt. Put on the lid and start the Smoothie program. Remove the lid when the program has finished.
  2. Place the ice cubes, grapefruit slices and rosemary sprigs in the glasses and divide the lemonade evenly between the glasses. Top up with mineral water and enjoy immediately.

Top tip:

For a smooth consistency, strain the lemonade through a fine sieve before pouring.
