Different Weight
No noticeable imperfections. Looks perfect. The only difference is the weight. My original weighed 68 grams and the replacement weighs 56 grams. It may seem slight, but it's enough to notice. Keep that in mind if that heavier feel in your hand is important to you. I was glad to find a replacement for my 20 yr. old set that they no longer manufacturer. Same great quality.

Love the handle!
This Five-star knife handle is slightly longer because it has no corner, an open-end handle is convenient. Without a barrier towards the end especially for someone who has bigger hands, this offers full control of this sharp paring knife and less fatigue. This paring knife is my go-to knife peeling, larding, and cutting small food such as fruits and vegetables like kiwi, strawberry, potato, tomato and etc.I personallly handwash my knives, so I do not recommend dishwashing this beautiful paring knife.

Happiness begins with a sharp knife
I was warned ahead of time that there might be some imperfections with this knife. To my immense relief, the “imperfection” had nothing to do with its blade. It is sharp and precise. The imperfection was limited to a dull finish on the black handle. Not a big deal and solved with a overnight immersion in Walrus Oil! The knife is perfect just like its 24 year old colleague was when I bought it years ago.

Ok for your senior citizen parent with arthritis.
It has a really long handle, which might be good for ergonomics. I bought it for someone else. I would probably get the Pro or Professional S Paring knife. The long handle does not appeal to me, but then again I am not a senior citizen with severe arthritis. The senior or elderly person in the family likes it a lot.

Perfect condition. Highly recommended.
Bought this to replace the one my wife accidently broke. Didn't find any imperfections on the knife. Only the box that it may have been in originally was missing (I wouldn't keep that anyway). Very sharp. Now I need to sharpen the rest of her set. Came very well packaged to protect it and anything around it.

Very good knife
Got this knife few weeks ago and it's very good: it lies comfortably in my hand, it's sharp and useful for everyday tasks (cutting, peeling, light meat carving). I can see some blemishes on the handle, but the blade itself is pristine. I think it's a great deal to get such a knife at discounted price.

Tip Bends
Don't waste your money on this, the tip is weak and bends right away, not happy with this knife. MY other paring knife, very disappointed because I have bought another paring knife years ago, that is smaller blade. Would get my money back if I could.

Love the feel of these knives
It was a replacement paring knife for a set of Henckels that I like a lot. These knives hold their sharp edge. I’ve owned other German steel high end knives that weren’t near a good as the Henckels.
