While STAUB is technically dishwasher safe, we suggest hand-washing to preserve its beautiful finish and extend the life of the enamel.
Stuck-On Grease? No problem.
For stubborn residue, soak your cocotte in warm, soapy water and gently heat it on the stove. Then, use a soft sponge or brush—avoid metal scouring pads to protect the enamel.
Tips & Tricks
- Don’t worry about food sticking—that’s how searing works. It will be released naturally when ready.
- Invert the lids for easy storage.
- Add ice cubes to the lid to encourage self-basting.
