The Dutch oven was completely misshapen when received, so much the lid was nowhere close to fitting, and pans were easily malleable. I understand aluminum cookware, I have several, but the quality was poor. I'm very disappointed in this set. I'm sure the Ballarini sets that are significantly more costly are fine, this just completely missed the mark.

It takes the abuse of metal utensils, high heat cooking and the dishwasher and looks and cooks as good as new. It's made from aluminum so it conducts heat really well and they've reinforced the bottom to make it even more efficient. The handles are a durable plastic that stay cool. I love cooking with glass lids! Everything you need is included in this set.

And we opt to hand wash, since clean up is so easy. The handles are comfortable, good weight. The sizes and shapes of the pieces in the set are very useful. Good set for the price.

This set is made in Italy and includes the 9. 5" fry pan; 11" fry pan; 11" saute pan with lid, 1. 5-Qt saucepan with lid; 2. 5-Qt saucepan with lid; and 4. 9-Qt Dutch oven.
