With set containing six marinating aids in total, you get the small and fine differences. When it comes to vacuum-packing with liquids, it simply works better with a marinating aid: Used along with our vacuum pump and ZWILLING FRESH & SAVE vacuum bags, the marinating aid ensures that the pump does not absorb the liquids so quickly. Marinades or meat juices remain in the bag as they accumulate in the marinating aid. This protects the vacuum pump from damage from liquids and everything is exactly where it should be.

FRESH & SAVE MARINATING AID
With the practical FRESH & SAVE marinating aid, aromatic marinades, oils or meat juice remain in the vacuum bag when vacuum-packed and cannot be easily sucked in by the vacuum-pack pump. The marinating aid is clipped onto the valve on the inside of the vacuum bag. The liquid then collects in the marinating aid during vacuum-packing. This gives a longer reaction time to stop the pump manually.

The marinating aid is easy to use, as it is simply clipped onto the inside of the bag on the valve. The set conveniently contains six marinating aids.

In order for the marinating aid to have its full effect, the vacuum bag should always lie flat on the work surface during vacuum-packing.
