Poor quality pump and bags hardly reusable
Paid $170 for this in Jun 2021 and the pump just quit on us less than 2.5 years later. The plastic around the base of the pump and the charging cover is cracking as well. Really poor quality.
The whole system did not meet expectations either.
The bags are supposed to be reusable but they're of the same poor quality as the single-use plastic of a regular vacuum sealer bag. The plastic deteriorates after 2 or 3 uses. It shrivels and the zipper lock at the top stops holding a seal. The valves on the bags are sometimes defective as well. Obviously selling more bags is better for the company, so I'm guessing that's why they chose not to produce higher quality bags. I purchased $90 worth of replacement bags over the past 2.5 years.
If you plan to sous vide with these bags, good luck cleaning them. Meat juice gets cooked into the corners and is just about impossible to clean out. And the smell does not leave the bag. Again, these bags are single-use quality. I use silicon Stasher bags for sous vide and put them through the dishwasher.
I also bought the wine cork and it never held a seal for more than 24 hours so I stopped using it. The containers seemed ok but I didn't use them much.
This whole product has shaken my confidence in this once quality German brand.
Wirecutter recommends the Anova Culinary Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro, so trying that next.

I'm never going back!
I love everything about the new Zwilling Fresh & Save. I cannot get over how easy the vacuum sealer is, how quickly it works and how quiet it is. The containers and bags give me enough options to choose from depending on the type of food I am looking to seal. The bonus of the App that you can download onto your phone to help you keep on top of when your food will go back is life changing. As a busy mom, this makes my life a heck of a lot easier. You should buy this product, you will not regret it :-)

Well Constructed, Extremely Functional
I have wanted a sealer for the longest time, however, I didn't have the space for those large units.
The Zwilling is compact, very well built and the functionality is superb. Seals containers and bags with ease. I have so much more room in my refrigerator and cupboards now.
My leafy greens, (Spinach, Arugula, Green Leaf Lettuce, etc.) are now kept fresh and crisp for over a week. I am an Avocado addict and now the other half of a large Avocado stays beautiful and green as if I just cut it. My bulk nuts and coffee are now sealed to perfection and stay fresh and crunchy as when I purchased them.
I absolutely love the Zwilling and highly recommend this handheld unit to anyone looking for an efficient, space saving sealing device.

Life-Changing Experience
Where do I start? 5 years ago I was a successful software engineer at a prominent up-and-coming tech firm in Silicon Valley. But everything changed when I became addicted to crack-cocaine. In a matter of months, I went from pulling in 6 figures and living in a beautiful suburban home to being penniless, divorced, unemployed, and degrading myself for $5 a man under the Golden Gate Bridge.
Then one day I was in the “Beyond” section at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and discovered this incredible food sealer - my world changed overnight! I forgot all about smoking rock as I sealed the freshness of my peppers, potatoes, chicken breasts and onions in! I knew they would last so much longer with Zwilling. A kitchen must-have!
In love with this Fresh & Save starter kit! It's so easy to use (I got the hang of it in under two minutes) and I'm so impressed with how it keeps foods fresher, longer! I used the app to track my food and was actually delighted to receive a notification that my food was about to expire - had actually forgot about it at the back of the fridge! So handy! This starter kit will pay for itself again and again in all the food I'm NOT wasting!

Okay but won’t buy more
I bought this a few months ago. While I prefer glass the containers are heavy, awkwardly shaped making them slippery and hard to handle in water. The rubber rimmed seals on the lids ABSORB ODOURS… do not store anything stinky; I had to throw it out as you can’t buy lids separately. The tool that sucks the air out is great and holds a charge for a very long time; it’s been a few months and I have not had to recharge it.

I have had this for a few months and I've used it for a variety of things, mostly freezing foods.
I like that I can reseal after I've taken a portion out and it doesn't seem to affect the quality. I made a lasagna a while ago and it went from the freezer to the oven no problem. I like the thick glass and definitely prefer it over the plastic 'lunchbox.

Works Great.
Decided to give it a try and so far I have enjoyed it. I put cut veggies and fruits in the glass containers and they stayed fresh for about two weeks in the fridge with no problem. I put cut meats, fruits, and veggies in the bags to keep the freezer tidy and clean, so far I am happy with that as well. I did find two bags that didn't seal properly but I'm sure customer support will help me replace that.

Fantastic
I saw an youtuber talked about how good this product and caught my interested. I did some research and purchase. Normally the food like salad or fresh herbs can't last long in the fridge so I tried it on this set. After few days.I was so surprised!! They still stay so fresh and not any even become slimy at all. I'm so glad I purchased this set! Super recommend this set!!

Great for fruits
I love the glass vacuum box. I use it everyday to extend the life of my fruits. Will be purchasing more.
For the vacuum seal bags it can not be used with items with liquid. If using for marinated meat, you need to ensure it is not too much liquid or it will get into the vacuum pump.
Overall I am happy with my purchase.

Disappointed the seal won’t last half the time
I’m trying to keep ground coffee fresh in the medium plastic container and more than half the time I go back to it the lid loose. I think it may be that when the seal is broken the powder coffee gets sucked up into the sealing ring. I wiped the ring each time I use it but it seems to require a wash each time.

Quick and quiet
I have used a vacuum sealing solution for 5+ years, which I loved, but the solution required connecting a hose from a larger central unit. The Zwilling vacuum mechanism stores easily in a drawer and containers seal much more quickly and quietly. Glass containers are also a great option!

I bought this for my husband, our chief cook, in response to his constant complaints about frost on the frozen foods. He loves the zip lock bags! I am loving how long it keeps my strawberries fresh in the fridge container! My sister will be getting a set for her birthday! (ssh!!)

The materials used in this product are great. It’s on the pricier end, but there is a definite quality difference when compared to similar containers of cheaper price. I love that I can just buy separate bags and containers that will also work with the pump as well!

Best Product of 2020!
This product never leaves my counter. It takes up almost zero space especially compared to my pervious counter top vacuum sealer. The reusable bags that you can open and reseal are something I have not seen with other types of sealers! Highly recommend!

I used to throw away half of my avocado in the trash because they will turn bad even if I put the other half in the fridge for only 2 days. My avocado stayed fresh even after 5 days when I put it in the container
