All knives in the series are made from one piece of stainless special recipe steel with a fine Pakka wood handle. Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice Design. Poor Material. No Warranty Support. I bought a Dragon Chinese Chef's Knife online 3 months ago, and have found it to be a beautiful knife, with well performing steel. Sadly, after such a short period of time, and with meticulous care (washing immediately with mild detergent, drying immediately and thoroughly before storage), the handle split along the spine of the knife as pictured, and very likely along a glue seam for the handle. Zwilling Warranty refused any support saying warranty does not apply to any wood parts. Be warned buying anything made of wood by Zwilling, especially their higher end Miyabi knives, as there is no after purchase support available.
