Four Star knives are made of proprietary special formula steel that has been perfected for almost 300 years. Combined with ZWILLING’s signature ice-hardening technique, these FRIODUR blades are harder, sharper, they will not stain or chip, and they retain their sharpness longer. Precision forged from a single piece of steel, the SIGMAFORGE knives have an exceptionally sturdy, balanced, and flexible blade.
The knife was forged in Germany from a single piece of steel and hardened in a four-stage ice-hardening process at particularly low temperatures.

The pronounced bolster is a visible sign of a forged knife. It also ensures balance and safety when cutting.
Convenient and safe cutting
The handle is made of at least 75% recycled plastic and is ergonomically shaped. The transition to the blade has been made seamlessly with millimeter precision.
