Description
French kings are not generally known for their generosity, but there are a few notable exceptions. One is “good king Henry IV”, who famously said that in his kingdom, every laborer shall have a chicken in his pot on a Sunday – creating the French national dish poule au pot.
Fittingly, Cocotte means little hen, and the bright yellow 28 cm version is the perfect vessel to cook a whole chicken with lots of vegetables in it.
