Miyabi Mikoto from
Sharp and beautifulI have this knife , I had a card to review it and I’d get a free gift but I have not heard from them at all. Overall the knife is excellent and very sharp , I’m a chef by profession and have a dozen different company knives , from shun to Wusthof. I find that the better the knife is made the more I want to use it , like how the handles are made to very high tolerances with no gaps compared to some of the cheaper knives I’ve bought in my career. The 6 inch Miyabi Mikoto is at the top of my go to list as a great chef knife to carry in my roll as opposed to my larger 10 inch Japanese chef knife . It’s more utilitarian since it’s not too big and not too small . Good enough for most fruits and vegetables but not as great on larger watermelons etc, if you want precision on those larger items. Overall a sharp and beautiful knife . Get one you will keep using it for the next 20 years . Well worth the money .
