MILK FROTHING – THE BASICS

HOW TO GET REALLY GOOD MILK FROTH

Frothing milk at home never tasted so good! Ever wonder how the barista at the coffee shop makes it so good? Here are some tips on how to froth your milk properly:

  1. Reach the correct temperature with your milk frother – like our ZWILLING ENFINIGY MILK FROTHER and mix the froth carefully.
  2. Check which milk is perfect for frothing. You can find it labelled "Barista Milk".
  3. Vegetarian beverages, such as soy or pea milk, can also be used and are perfect for frothing. They produce a stiff froth and are available at (almost) any supermarket.

MILK FROTH: SOME LIKE IT HOT – AND SOME COLD

WARM MILK FROTH

The classic for latte macchiato and other coffee specialties. The ideal temperature is under 70°C for creating particularly creamy milk froth.

COLD MILK FROTH

Especially enjoyable in summer: cold milk froth, such as for Cappuccino Freddo. Cold milk froth works best with whole milk or plant-based milk alternatives.

CREAMY COCOA

A great treat – not just for the little ones. Try using your milk frother to make deliciously creamy hot chocolate.

MILK FROTH – ALSO WORKS WITHOUT MILK

Wondering what milk is suitable for the milk frother? Why not try a plant-based milk alternative? Perfect for vegans, soy milk is a popular alternative for many people. Another alternative is pea milk or oat milk, which also froths very well and can be found a most supermarkets and health food shops.
