Good quality for the value
The knife set is quite nice aesthetically and the grip is comfortable in hand, and feels like a great value. We haven’t used it for too long but cuts nicely while feeling balanced. Some of my knives has small blemishes on the grip or blade, but they’re not really noticeable, and the blade seems like it might scratch easily. My biggest issue is the knife block which feels unnecessarily long. I feel like they could have shortened it for a better fit on the counter.

Great set of knives, great price
I haven't used my knives yet, but they feel nice and seem to be exactly what I need. I've hated my lower end knives for years and finally bit the bullet on this set I've been eyeing for years.
The block is big, and if you have limited counter space, this could be a serious downfall, but it's a non issue for me in my current space. Looking forward to the joys in the kitchen to come!

RUSTING ALREADY
I dropped a pretty penny on this set only to find that the shaft is already rusting. I am beyond disappointed. When I received a broken wok a while back I was told that the blame was the third party company that was used to pack the order... what are they going to tell me now? That this was made in china and it is not their fault? Very disappointed...

The knife set is a tank. It’s an absolute unit. While it doesn’t fit my minimalist style, it’s very high quality and I have no doubt it will like for years just like most henckels products. Knifes have good weight as does the wooden block. Though it’s the set is anything but subtle, it looks quite grandiose on my counter top.

The 20-piece with self-sharpening set looks great on my counter. I’ve been eying this set for a while and the price at Costco is unbeatable!
Love that each slot is also labelled, makes putting away easier. The stainless steel look is classic. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

This is an attractive set. The block keeps everything in it's place. More importantly, the knives have a nice solid feel with the perfect weight. The self-sharpening feature is most handy.

These knives are beautiful looking, nicely weighted, easy to use and so sharp that prep time is cut :) in half. The block fits well under cupboards on counter top for easy access and looks very chic. The knives and scissors are all a nice light weight, and so sharp and easy to use.

Beautiful set. Like the self sharpening feature. So far only have it for a month. We hand wash the knives. No rust issues as of yet. Purchased this set on sale at Costco Canada . Great overall set and value. The block is rather large, so be aware of your counter space limitations.

Excellent Achat
Les couteaux ont un bon poids pour travailler efficacement. Par contre, il faudrait avoir un peu plus d'explications sur la position de chaque couteau dans le bloc de rangement, un feuillet explicatif serait apprécié, car une fois qu'on a jeté la boîte c'est un peu plus compliqué.

A fantastic knife block set!

Sharp out of the box
Handles feel good in the hand but the knives feel very light - unlike my previous henckles set. I think I’d also prefer that the steak knives were just stored in the drawer - block is massive on my counter. Price was right though - we’ll see how they keep their edge.

Knives stay sharp and I have more than enough steak knives to host a nice dinner party. If you get to know your knives, it shouldn’t be a problem replacing them in the proper slots. Won’t have to buy knives again for years to come - these are keepers!

Defect
Chefs blade came with cracked defective edge midway up. Chefs block minorly seperating. Good looking set, classic v type ceramic and carbide sharpeners. Feel nice and are good to use. Just hopefully get the chefs blade replaced .

Great knife set - huge knife block
These knives work great, and I love the knife block with built-in sharpeners. The knife block is rather large though, so be prepared for that if you don't have much counter space, it will take up quite a bit of space depth-wise.
