INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, pepper

HOW TO MAKE IT

  1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dry them and cut out the blossom. Cut them into evenly thin slices with a knife, keeping the blossom base to the left or right so that the seeds remain in the casing.
  2. Lay out the tomato slices on the cutting board and drizzle or brush thinly with olive oil on both sides and season with salt and pepper, e.g. with the ZWILLING ENFINIGY Electric Salt and Pepper Mill.
  3. Arrange the tomato slices side by side on the rack of the ZWILLING air fryer so that they are not on top of each other. Bake at 200 °C for approx. 8-12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the slices, until crispy. Bake the remaining tomatoslices in the same way to make chips.
  4. Take out the tomato chips, taste and season as needed while still warm. Then let them cool and enjoy.

Tip

If you like, you can also season the tomatoes with herbs, e.g. Italian pizza seasoning or herbs de Provence.
