Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent boning knife Great knife for boning chicken, cleaning fish and trimming large pieces of beef. Just enough stiffness and flexibility. The Four Star II line was made to last. It has a comfortable, slip-resistant grip and features a steel end cap that optimizes the balance of the knife. The blade is forged from premium custom stainless steel boosted with proprietary knife manufacturing technology. The benefit? It makes the blades hold their edge longer and avoid damage. Easily maintained. Hone regularly, sharpened only when needed. These knives will keep their edge. Dishwasher safe, but I recommend that they be hand washed; they will continue to look like new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great boning knife This is a knife I didn’t know I needed until I used it. I always thought this was really supposed to be used for just fish or chicken, but you can use this knife for so many other purposes! It cuts so cleanly and with it’s thin profile you can really get a nice slice, whether it’s removing meat from a bone, or skin from fruit or fish, it’s a knife that can be really handy to have in the kitchen when you need it. The Four Star II is a great forged knife collection; a little heavier than the Four Star, with the high carbon ice hardened stainless steel, this is a great knife to have in your kitchen.

Can also be used for cutting and slicing thin meat because of its flexible blade, it is effortless for this knife. This knife is manufactured from special formula high carbon NO STAIN steel, SIGMAFORGE knife is forged from a single piece of solid steel, Ice-hardened FRIODUR blade stays sharper longer, and has superior resilience. Dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This knife is super sharp, thin and flexible making it perfect for trimming and boning meats and roasts. The Four Star II handle is molded into a comfortable non slip grip. The forged bolster makes it feel sturdy and accurate as you move this knife through your cutting tasks. Made from specially formulated steel to be corrosion resistant it will retain it's super sharp cutting edge use after use.

The blade is thin and narrow, with more flexibility than our other utility knife. Works great on chicken and fish, but also with fruit, for example removing the rind from a slice of melon.

I have never used a boning knife that works with such ease to achieve the desired results and this Four Star ll boning knife hadds a comfortable handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This 5 inch boning knife is great for getting around bones. It is super flexible and easy to use. This is a lighter German knife and the bolster provides a nice finger guard so you do not have to worry about cutting yourself. Very comfortable handle, sharp blade.
