Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ultimate low maintenance knife! The chef knife is really the work horse in the kitchen and needs to be comfortable in the hand, durable and have a long lasting edge. This knife has all of that and more! Twin Fin II is manufactured in Seki Japan with all of the craftsmanship one would expect from a premium Japanese knife. Each blade is hand crafted by 46 Japanese artisans. Made out of innovative Nitro 60 Steel, Twin Fin II is extremely durable, chip and corrosion resistant with a razor sharp long lasting edge. Each knife is individually weighted for perfect balance with a curved bolster and ergonomic handle for a exceptional cutting experience. Added bonus these are dishwasher safe!

It's made from nitrogen infused steel that brings a level of durability to knives previously unknown in the premium knife world. They are not only razor sharp with the extremely thin, sharp blade, but this new steel provides chip resistance, durability, plus they are dishwasher safe! Each knife is individually weighted which means the handle and blade are balanced perfectly. You'll love this great chef knife! It is the kitchen workhorse; ideal for chopping fruits and vegetables and can even slice nicely through meat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent Japanese knife, less maintenance! This chef's knife is great for chopping veggies, fruits, or cutting meat. The Friodur ice-hardened blade is super resistant to corrosion and the longevity of the edge is excellent. This knife definitely exhibits the high-quality characteristics you expect of a Japanese knife. The stainless steel throughout the handle gives it a really industrial look and gives a little flare to the kitchen. The ergonomic handle itself is super comfortable to hold and makes for effortless handling. I also love the overall balance of the knife, giving it a great feel as I slice. A quality knife such as this really allows you to let the knife do the work and enhances the cooking experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The chef knife is the most used knife in the kitchen so you want that knife to be comfortable in your hand, you want it to be sharp and that sharpness to last. Twin Fin ll is made with N60 steel which is highly corrosion resistant and razor sharp. It goes through a special ice-hardening process which makes the knife hard, durable and sharp. I find that the curved bolster makes the knife easy to hold and I can easily apply the pinch grip for a secure hold on the knife at all times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8" Perfection If you could only have one knife in the kitchen it would have to be an 8" chef's knife! I grab this this knife for everything since it arrived. The blade is made from N-60 special formula stainless steel which is extremely durable and razor sharp. It slices through tomatoes like butter. The curved bolster acts as an extension of the hand for optimal balance and easy cutting. You hand does not get tired with this knife. And yes you can put it in the dishwasher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looking Chef's knife Super sleek and modern Chef knife, this is a fun knife to use in the kitchen. I love the modern look of it, and also how sharp and durable it is considering it’s a Japanese knife! The handle contours really nicely in hand, and it’s a nice transition from blade to handle, great for gripping it really well. Super lightweight, this is a fantastic knife if you need something light or if you’re using for an extended period of time. Love using this knife!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a few 8" chef knives in our block, but since this one arrived, it's the only one I reach for. I didn't think I would be a fan of the stainless steel handle but boy was I wrong. The curve of the handle fits your hand so well. The blade is super sharp. Overall it's lightweight like a Japanese knife would be, but durable like a German knife. It truly is an extension of my arm when I'm using it.
