The result is an exceptional knife that impresses both hobby chefs and professionals alike. Both at first sight and over many years.   Santoku literally means 'three benefits'. However, that's an understatement. The versatile all-purpose knife offers so many more benefits. This begins with the materials. The premium chef's knife is forged from N60 stainless steel that distinguishes itself with its special combination of chrome and carbon. It sits comfortably in the hand and masters a wide range of tasks. Effortlessly cut vegetables, meat and fish. The Japanese knife's ergonomically designed handle is excellent for working with and the gilled design makes it look very special. The kitchen knife's ice-hardened blade is robust, incredibly flexible and suitable for both chopping and flat rocking cuts. An additional advantage is that the knife is also dishwasher-safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twin Fin is an incredible knife line made in Japan where extreme sharpness and durability is a requirement. It's made from a nitrogen infused steel that brings a level of durability to knives previously unknown in the premium knife world. They are not only razor sharp with the extremely thin, sharp blade, but this new steel provides chip resistance, durability, plus they are dishwasher safe! Each knife is individually weighted which means the handle and blade are balanced perfectly. The Santoku is perfectly suited if you love to chop with it's razor sharp, flat blade. Ideal for fruits and vegetables, but will also slice meat perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The great Santoku! Love it! I love this Santoku! It is one of the most versatile knife shapes I have ever used. This knife is my number one go-to because it can chop, dice, cube, mince, and slice pretty much any veggie, fruit, or piece of meat on which I use it. The Friodur ice-hardened blade is super resistant to corrosion and the longevity of the edge is great. The stainless steel throughout the handle gives it a really industrial look and gives a little flare to the kitchen. The ergonomic handle itself is super comfortable to hold and makes for effortless handling. A quality knife such as this really allows you to let the knife do the work. The enjoyable experience comes as no surprise from this premium Japanese knife. A MUST-HAVE!

You will chop through piles of fruits and vegetables with ease. I have been using this knife on a regular basis and continue to be impressed by its performance. The handle is extremely comfortable to hold. The innovative curved bolster allows for full use of the blade as well as a perfect spot to grip your knife. Exceptional quality. Get this knife in your hand- feel the difference.

Your grip has never felt more balanced and comfortable than with this individually-weighted handle and innovative curved bolster. Add that to a durable and razor-sharp FC61 steel and you've got a fantastic go-to knife in the kitchen. Got a dishwasher? You're in luck because this knife loves the dishwasher and will come out clean and looking new every time.

With this knife being ice-hardened, it will help retain it’s sharpness for a long time. This modern Santoku is nice and lightweight, and a great addition in the kitchen if you are looking for an alternative big blade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for vegetable prep or anything really. I can't believe how sharp this knife is and how easily it glides through food. It has a nice flexibility and now matter how much pressure I put on it it returns to its original shape. I still can't wrap my brain around "its dishwasher safe" after a lifetime of hand washing knives.
