Description
Nimble, light, and exceptionally comfortable, our made-in-Japan Twin Fin II knives are chip and corrosion resistant and easy to care for. With a FRIODUR ice-hardened blade made of Nitro 60 special formula stainless steel, these knives boast long-lasting durability. The curved bolster acts as an extension of the hand and the ergonomic steel handle with gilled design is hygienic and exceptionally well balanced, promoting fatigue-free cutting even for the largest chopping tasks. These professional-style knives are also dishwasher safe, making quick work of clean up.
This 11-pc. set includes a 3.5-in. paring knife for smaller scale jobs, 5.25-in. prep knife for precision prep work, 8-in. chef's knife for chopping, slicing and dicing, 8-in bread knife for cutting tough on the outside, soft on the inside foods, 7-in. santoku knife for heavy duty chopping, four 4.5-in. steak knives, shears, and a self-sharpening block made of ash wood. Every time you take the paring knife, prep knife, chef’s knife, or santoku knife from the block, it is sharpened as you pull it from its slot. Each of the four built-in ceramic sharpening mechanisms is specifically designed and labelled for its corresponding Twin Fin II fine-edge knife.

Incredible low maintenance block set
Zwilling has taken a premium Japanese crafted knife and combined it with a revolutionary self sharpening block. Twin Fin II is manufactured in Seki Japan with all of the craftsmanship one would expect from a premium Japanese knife. Each blade is hand crafted by 46 Japanese artisans. Made out of innovative Nitro 60 Steel, Twin Fin II is extremely durable, chip and corrosion resistant with a razor sharp long lasting edge. Each knife is individually weighted for perfect balance with a curved bolster and ergonomic handle for a exceptional cutting experience. A really great set!
A great set with everything you need, this Japanese collection made by Zwilling brings the best of both Japanese and German cutlery together, sharpness and durability. With the self-sharpening block, you never have to worry about sharpening your knives, such a game changer! I love the aesthetic of these knives, they are nice and lightweight, and the handle contours really nicely in hand. The curved bolster provides the perfect placement to grip your knives safely and securely too; a feature you wouldn’t think is important, but makes a huge difference when chopping and slicing all types of foods. A great set!

This is a great block if you do not like sharpening your knives, or you are a little unsure of shapening stones. It also has some of the most used knives in the kitchen in this configuration. The paring, prep and chef knives are indispensable to me and I have them close at hand always when working in the kitchen. The bread knife is always needed at the dinner table and shears should just be attached to me they are used so often. Plus you have the added bonus of four steak knives! This is a beautiful block set that you will proudly display in your kitchen, I know I do!

Quality knives but the block & shears… not so much
I love the quality of the knives as well as the consistent stainless steel material for the blade and handle. I plan on cleaning within the dishwasher from time to time and hope there will be no staining/ rusting and that the printed text and logo won’t wear off. Only time will tell.
My only compliant would be the shears that come with the set which have cheap looking black plastic handles. For the high price point, it’s disappointing that Zwilling didn’t include the stainless steel shears that they offer, which would look great with the knife handles. It drove me a wee bit crazy so I ordered the SS shears. Your plan worked, Zwilling! :)
Also, the wood block is very low quality with little attention to detail.

Niiice!
This set is really nice. The knives are even nicer than our last Zwilling set. They feel great in your hand and the self sharpening is an awesome upgrade. The black on my old set started cracking after years of use so we decided to try the all metal set to avoid that. Hope these hold up even better. The wood block came with a little chip in the bottom. I will hit it with a touch up pen no worries.

No Brainer
Modern style - This is a light weight and incredibly sharp set of knives that will continue to stay sharp!! Put away the honing steel and the sharpening tools!! This is a no brainer!! I have been using these knives on a regular basis and continue to be impressed by their performance. The handles is extremely comfortable to hold. The innovative curved bolster allows for full use of the blade as well as a perfect spot to grip your knife. Exceptional quality.

You can really have it all with this awesome 11pc self-sharpening set! Twin Fin is an amazing knife line made in Japan, where razor sharp knives are not just a necessity, but a requirement. This knife line has exceeded the industry standard for durability with the introduction of Nitro 60 steel. The nitrogen infused steel is incredibly durable, chip resistant and is even dishwasher safe! The steel handles are light and very comfortable as they balance perfectly in your hand.
This amazing self sharpening set takes all of the work out of owning quality knives. Every time a knife is replaced, the edge is reset keeping it razor sharp. It comes with every knife you will need for chopping, slicing and dicing fruits, vegetables, meats and cheese. Plus an awesome bread knife that will tackle the freshest loaves of bread without smashing or tearing. 4 steak knifes are included also; an essential for that special dinner.
