Try it the European way.
This angled spat is for icing. Period. Or at least that what I was taught. Now I am opening my horizons. It can also flip pancakes, eggs, omelets, crepes. It is a pretty useful tool if I get out of my head and try new techniques. The offset is what makes this spat so useful. It remains in my baking drawer, I often bring it out when I want to challenge myself to learn a new skill.
But for the record: its a terrific icing spatula.

Excellent for Flipping, Turning & Flexible!
This is a kitchen gadget that is flexible for the job it is made for. It is manufactured of premium stainless steel however it is comfortable and flexible to flip and turn food, easy lift spatula. This offset spatula is perfect baking gadget for spreading butter, icing and smoothing toppings on your cake. One of Asian dish I know for this offset spatula is perfect for is steam fish topped with mayonnaise, this tools will be excellent for that job. This angled spatula can be used to pick up sliced food for easy transfer from a pan to a plate.

useful tool
This spatula provides great control for icing cakes, smoothing and spreading fillings. It's also handy for other bakery projects. I use it for lifting cakes and pies out of their pans.
Primarily a bakers tool, however it also a good spatula for picking up long narrow fish fillets.

Made with durable stainless steel that is hygienic and dishwasher safe this tool will be a great addition to any kitchen. This long spatula is great for spreading batter and frosting as well as digging into those hard to get to corners of baking pans.

I just got this and I actually feel like a professional pastry chef when using it! The handle is round and comfortable to hold and the long smooth edges make this perfect for spreading frosting and fillings. I have used it for flipping crepes and will try it on pancakes and omelets next. Super easy to clean because it goes right into the top rack of my dishwasher.

This long spatula is amazing, durable, and can be used in so many different ways. Everyone thinks this is just a cake icing tool, which it essentially is, and does an amazing job at icing cakes. Interesting enough this spatula flips pancakes extremely well, and makes flipping omelets easier. Very impressed with this spatula!
