ZWILLING Pro Holm Oak 7-inch Hollow Edge Santoku Knife is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chop Whatever You Want! This Knife Does It! The wide blade of a santoku makes for an excellent chopping knife. With a little more angle than a nakiri, but a straighter edge than chef's knife this is a great knife for vegetable-centric eating. Although this knife will also slice and chop meat as well as a chef's knife. I just like santoku blades because they are so stable. A butternut squash and a head of lettuce is the same to this quality blade. And I really like the handles of this knife. The beautiful Mediterranean Holm oak used for the handles are each unique based on their grain. Keep them rich and beautiful just by rubbing a little mineral oil into them a few times a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Razor Sharp Edge You cannot beat both the look and feel of this knife. The blade is forged from high carbon steel and has a razor sharp edge, sharper than most German knives. It is a cutting machine when it comes to vegetables and fruit. It's bolster (where the handle connects to the blade) is curved to help make sure I'm holding the knife correctly which allows me to cut longer without fatigue. Not only is it sharp, but it holds the edge really well. The handle is made from the most beautiful oak that feels incredible in my hand. It's a winner all around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Pro series knives are among the very best knives produced by Zwilling. They are made from specially formulated steel that retains it's razor sharp cutting edge use after use while resisting corrosion. They are forged with a curved bolster to provide the most comfortable pinch grip for your thumb and forefinger. Once you put one of these in your hand and feel the perfect weight and balance you'll never want to use another knife. The Oak handle is a wonderful option to the traditional black handle. The Oak is smooth and rustic and perfect for those who prefer a wood look. This santoku is one of my most used knives next to my chef's knife. It's broader heavier blade is perfect for chopping vegetables and the hollow pockets on the edge help to prevent food from sticking as you slice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful holm oak santoku knife The Zwilling Pro Holm Oak is a great German knife collection. I like that it has a curved bolster to grip the handle and blade easily and comfortably. The high carbon forged stainless steel won’t tarnish over time and it’s constructed to be an extremely durable and sharp knife that will last for a long time. This is a great Santoku that has that Asian blade shape but German durability. I love the Holm oak wood handles on this blade, the wood accents the stainless steel really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prepping with Santoku! Excellent knife chopping, cutting, and slicing meat, fruits, vegetables, poultry, and herbs. Beautiful holm oak handle and has a unique feel to it, it is slightly lighter. This knife size is comfortable, easy to maneuver, and well-balanced. It will quickly become daily tasks go-to knife, it is so sharp and durable. It's the most easiest to sharpen for its half bolsters, nothing gets in the way no matter when cutting and slicing. Sharpeniing is easy, either stone or machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime. They have a curved and it is perfect to hold with pinch grip. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. This santoku has hollow edges to help food move away from the blade when cutting. The Holm Oak is a refreshing color and perfect to match lighter colored cabinets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice smaller santoku A smaller santoku knife, this is a great Japanese style German knife. The Friodur ice hardened forged stainless steel of the Pro Hom Oak santoku is a nice and durable blade and has a great sharp edge retention on it, perfect for chopping smaller produce, meat and veggies. The weight is really nice on this knife. The Pro Holm Oak handles really accent the stainless steel blades well and it’s a sturdy and durable wood, great for longevity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Holm Oak line of Pro knives is really quite stunning. The light wood handle complements the steel of the blade and the 3 rivets on the handle giving these knives a new modern look. The handle is smooth and well weighted and the curved bolster keeps wrist fatigue to a minimum during long periods of cutting. All and all this is a very handsome knife at a very approachable price point.
