Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoyment Enjoyment I have borrowed some knives from my friend they have a lot of extra knives and they loaned me a few to use until my set comes when I’m by myself I love to use this knife as an all-around knife for cutting my steak for just eating along with my favorite fork it works excellent I love the length and the style of it to use at my dinner table specially when I am Barbecuing and eating meat I love to use this knife for that purpose experiment people and enjoy while you’re eating, I know that I am not a traditionalist when it comes to using certain cutlery but I do know how to use it when I’m with large groups of people I do have the proper etiquette for that I use the correct utensils but like I say when I’m alone this is the knife I use a lot, John.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This knife works beautifully as a slicer but I have also used it as a boning knife. It is flexible so can get in between meant and bone perfectly. Pro knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so they are durable for a lifetime, and that's their warranty - lifetime. The bolster is curved and perfect to hold with pinch grip. This knife has been ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great carving knife This slicer is an improvement on the standard. The German construction and forged steel blade make a strong blade that is extremely sharp and flexible. The curved bolster encourages the proper holding of the knife and helps give accurate straight thin slices. The flexibility allows for easy movement around bone when working with a crown roast or rib roast. Its also great for smoked fish. The blade holds its edge for a long time and is easy to maintain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have Pro knives and they are my absolute favorite. I can not say enough good about them. They are perfectly balanced and forged for a very sturdy feel. Each knife profile has the signature curved bolster which provides the most comfortable thumb and forefinger pinch grip. This slicing carving knife is so sharp it will give you the thinnest best slice of roast and is beautiful to pull out to cut through that special occasion cake!

The forged special formula stainless steel of the Pro will have lasting durability and sharpness, so you never worry about the blade having difficulty slicing through your food. A great alternative to the 7” Filet and traditional slicing knife, this blade being flexible and longer will provide minimal slices for cutting through meat and fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thin flexible blades good for paper thin slices Thin blades are logocally more flaxible than thick blades. So thin flexible blade knives are the ideal when I want to do super thin slices, think proscuitto AND melon. This 7-inch Pro knife is a great option. Long enough to get through melon with one stroke, and strong and flexible enough to give me paper thin slices of proscuitto. Also excellent for tomatoes, pears, apple, peaches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible carving knives are exceptional at cutting around bone cleanly leaving little meat behind. This 7" length is nice for chickens, small turkeys, roasts and sausages. The curved bolster really sets these knives apart from the competition. It makes the knife feel very comfortable in the hand when using the proper pinch grip and reduces wrist fatigue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro knives are as good as it gets and feel great while using them. The slicer/carving knife is good for so many tasks, not only meat. I use it for slicing through pizza, brownies, desserts as it glides right thru any hard food, too like melons and squash. The curved bolster is an added plus, as it gives you a better grip and more comfort!

Which would be better for slicing London broil, this item or the Zwilling 4 star 10" hollow edge slicing knife
