Great Knife Set!
This Zwilling set is fantastic - the knives are super sharp making cutting and chopping effortless. Getting used to the steak knives not being serrated. One odd issue - we seem to have received 9 steak knives, not 8, though can’t tell whether the small slicing knife in the diagram is really supposed to just be a duplicate steak knife or something different. And yes, there is a big empty slot on top, which we’ll see if there’s a Zwilling cleaver that will fit there. The knives are lightweight but solid and comfortable to handle. Very pleased so far!

The perfect knife set
This will be the last set you ever need because it comes with everything you need. The pro knife is perfectly balanced, a curved bolster makes holding in correctly simple, and the forged German steel assures you that it will stay sharp and last a lifetime.
I love that this set includes 8 Pro steak knives. They cut so cleanly you'll feel like you're always dining at a five star restaurant. The little "birds beak" parer is perfect for coring strawberries, deveining shrimp or removing blemishes from fruits and vegetables. I truly is one of the favorite knives. It also comes with a Santoku, perfect for chopping with it's raizor sharp edge. And everyone needs a good bread knife!

Has it All!
Did my homework and definitely decided to go with the Zwilling Pro line of knives. Love the curved bolster which makes then pinch grip a breeze. The rounded blade also helps reinforce the rocking motion I like to use when cutting.
The assortment of knives, leaves nothing to want. The birds beak knife is my new favorite. Great extension of the hand, works great hulling strawberries and doing fancy vegetable cuts.
The best part of this block is that it includes the steak knives. Love that they are the same line as my kitchen knives, look great and just glide through steaks and chops. Well priced for all of these knives, only thing missing for me is a fillet knife, which I will soon purchase.

Best knife set with everything you need!
I love using these knives because they are so comfortable in my hand because the handle feels like it was made for me and the curve where the handle and the blade meet makes it very easy to use. This set includes every knife I will ever need and I especially love the fact that it came with both a 7" santoku knife and a 5" santoku knife because I like using a longer knife because I am more comfortable cooking and my husband likes to use the shorter one because he doesn't cook very often. It is truly a great set for the whole family, especially since it includes steak knives.

best set of knives out there
The swilling Pro line of kitchen knives really is the best of the best! I love their german knives in general but the elegance of the pro line is unsurpassed. the gentle curve of the bolster makes them extremely ergonomic and encourages you to hold your knife tin the most efficient way. The 6 steak knives are primo, the best, bar non, but they are pricy alone. this really adds to the value of the set. the assortment of knives includes 3 different pstyle and sized paring knives and 2 sizes of my new favorite the santokus.

Everything I will need for years!
This was a birthday gift and I couldn’t be more pleased. This 17 piece set has absolutely everything I could possibly need for years to come. Word of caution they are extremely sharp, especially be careful around the bolster area, there is a very sharp corner.

Love the knives and how it handles and sharpness. We expanded our purchase with a different knife block and purchased an additional meat cleaver. It’s a perfect set.

Are the 5" and 7" Santoku knives flat or rocking? The picture shows one flat and one rocking but does not say which one is which, a review implies both are flat. Please advise if one is rocking and one is flat and which is rocking and which is flat.
