Additional Information

Created with Master Bladesmith Bob Kramer, the KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Stainless Steel Damascus Collection features stainless steel blades made to his exacting standards, maximizing curves, balance and utility.

Bob's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade.

The knives are hand-finished with a traditional 3-step process by skilled Japanese artisans. Combined with the SG2 micro-carbide powder steel, the ice-hardened CRYODUR blades deliver scalpel-like sharpness, stay sharper longer and can withstand more sharpening over their lifespan. The SG2 super steel core is protected by an exceptionally beautiful 100-layer Chevron Damascus pattern, which is complimented by a stunning black linen Micarta handle and signature Bob Kramer mosaic pin.

KRAMER by ZWILLING EUROLINE Damascus Collection 7-inch Santoku Knife is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK I bought all the Kramer kinves. I wanted the carbons first, 10/6 inch and santoku, but could not get any with handles that were not complete garbage. returned and had them replaced and the replacements were the same. Rivets sticking way out of the wood. quality control is zero. Then i bought the damascus because the micarta handle should not shrink or expand. I thought I was safe with the rivets, but they stick out too. AND the micarta is different from one knife to the next, some are rough, some are smooth. I've bought over 10 knives trying to get good ones, but they are ALL like this. I'll do a video to show you how awful they are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These 7" Santoku knife cuts through food that is so satisfying to your hands, as well as the size, shape and most favorite in these collections. It is stainless steel Damascus knife features a blade to perfection and hardness. Bob Kramer's design has an extremely wide blade to maximize knuckle clearance for larger hands and for cutting through large produce and piles of food. Chopped food can easily be transported with this impressive, broad blade. Hand washing is highly recommend to keep your knife durability because dishwasher's humidity and abrasiveness could be harmful to any knife like this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting Vegetables with Pleasure The Kramer Damascus line is iconic. It features Bob Kramer's over-sized, but surprisingly comfortable handles. And 101-layers of ice hardened, stainless steel blade that glides through raw meat and fish and chops potatoes and onions with equal ease. The beautiful Damascus pattern adds a touch of beauty. The 7-inch santoku is the perfect place to start building a set of world class cutting tools. It is useful for all forms of cutting and holds its acutely sharpened edge so well. For folks who really appreciate the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Love this knife The first attraction is the big, meaty handle made out of Micarta; no need to worry about shrinking or wear with the linen resin mixture. The blade is simply stunning with the 100 layers so beautiful and wide. It can handle any task you throw it's way. They use SG2 steel which is incredibly hard and will result in a knife that's going to stay sharp and be easy to maintain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What more needs to be said? It’s a Kramer! Nonetheless, this is among my top knives, I’ve always been avid of santoku’s, and when I found this beautiful chevron Damascus blade, I feel in love... the design is incredible, the balance is incredible, the sharpness is incredible, it’s an all around, versatile, and incredible knife all-around! You won’t be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This beautiful razor sharp santoku has a slight curve for rocking and chopping. Delivers paper thin slices. The handle is very comfortable for a pinch grip and is made from Micarta which means it has all the beauty of wood with none of the downsides like swelling or cracking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once you've used this beautiful Damascus santoku knife, you'll never want to use another knife again! This is the sharpest knife I've ever used and it stays that way longer than any knife out there. The blade and handle are so uniquely crafted and the bolster allows for complete control and maneuverability when doing prep work. I LOVE this knife!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome blade and comfortable handle! I have used the knife for a few months now and love it! Very different style to my Wusthof Classic's, that I absolutely love and have had for over 15 years and my 35 year old Henckels 8" chef knife, but this is a great addition to my collection. It cuts very well. The handle, using a pinch grip, is very comfortable. A pleasure to use!
