ZWILLING developed its Diplôme knife series in cooperation with the professionals of the “Le Cordon Bleu” cooking school, where future top-class chefs are trained. The Compact chef’s knife from the ZWILLING Diplôme series has a blade with a length of 14 cm that is made of FC61 steel. This steel is very hard, ensuring that the blade retains its sharpness for a long time. The handle is made of high-quality plastic. It is seamlessly connected with the blade and, as such, provides a high hygiene standard. A classic three-rivet design ensures a stable connection. With the ZWILLING Compact chef’s knife, you can cut a great variety of foods such as vegetables, fruit, meat, fish and even herbs. What is more, thanks to the slightly broader blade, the knife is also very well-suited for chopping herbs. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent BEST OF BOTH WORLDS This 5.5" utility knife is a perfectly designed for slicing and dicing medium sized fruits, vegetables and meats. This is the one I choose for sandwich and salad making. Super sharp, durable and well balanced. Great feel and weight- Easy to work with. Asian styling and German steel make this a best in class blade. I like the curved bolster for complete use and sharpening of the blade. The classic three riveted handle is comfortable to hold. A fabulous knife.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this Prep knife! I am a fan of prep knife, it is not daunting for me, it is exceptionally sharp and its versatility makes a must-have knife in every kitchen! It is enjoyable to cut and slice small to medium food size such as fruits, vegetables, meat, butter, cheese, herbs, and even bread. This may look similar to the Miyabi Evolution, but there are some key differences. It simplifies all your cutting work because, thanks to its small grinding angle of 20°, it is particularly sharp. This Zwilling Diplome is made in Japan but is still a German-engineered knife. The handle is ergonomically designed to make knifework easy on the hand and wrist muscles. The blade boasts an authentic Japanese blade profile made of an impressive FC61 special steel, hardened to approximately 61 Rockwell. It offers exceptional durability, cutting edge retention, and corrosion resistance. I personally recommend handwashing this beautiful knife, keeping in pristine condition and sharpness.
