Description

The knives of the ZWILLING Diplôme series were developed in cooperation with the “Le Cordon Bleu” cooking school, where tomorrow’s top chefs of are trained. Needless to say, they need first-class knives that lie very well in the hand and retain their great sharpness for the longest possible time. For this reason, the ZWILLING Diplôme series is made of particularly exquisite materials. With these knives you cut the ingredients for your meals like a pro. The vegetable knife has a blade of 9 cm that is inspired by the Japanese blade cut. It consists of very hard FC61 steel and has a particularly sharp Honbazuke cutting edge. The handle is made of high-quality and low-maintenance plastic. It seamlessly joins the blade, offering no spaces for dust or dirt to settle. The handle is classically fastened to the blade with three rivets. ZWILLING consulted top chefs from Japan for the handle form. You will attain best cutting results with the vegetable knife from the ZWILLING Diplôme series, because its blade has a particularly small grinding angle of only 20°. Using it, slicing vegetables very thinly is child’s play. Therefore, the ZWILLING vegetable knife made of high-quality FC61 steel makes it easy to create new delicacies every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful knife! This Zwilling Diplome vegetable paring knife, is made in Japan but is still a German-engineered knife. The handle is ergonomically designed to make knifework easy on the hand and wrist muscles, it seemed to be slightly longer however it is comfortable. The blade boasts an authentic Japanese blade profile made of an impressive FC61 special steel, hardened to approximately 61 Rockwell. It offers exceptional durability, cutting edge retention, and corrosion resistance. This vegetable knife has a rounded tip, works just like the paring knife. It can be used for many purposes, such as peeling and larding, and its versatility makes a must-have knife in every kitchen! I personally recommend handwashing this beautiful knife.

Great for mincing ginger and garlic. Super sharp, durable and well balanced. Great feel and weight- Easy to work with. Asian styling and German steel make this a best in class blade. I like the curved bolster for complete use and sharpening of the blade. The classic three riveted handle is comfortable to hold. A fabulous knife
