Disappointed: finish doesn't hold up
Reviewed this product before using it enough: the finish scratches easily even with extreme care, keeping it on medium heat doesn't allow for a good sear. After a month, it's scratched and the warranty is of no value--return and allow 3 months for them to determine that it's not a manufacturer's defect. And the return policy is only for unused products. I researched this extensively, but clearly a ceramic finish is not what we wanted. We wanted a durable finish that would allow a sear and higher heats. The pan heats evenly, but now we'll just let it deteriorate and buy something else

Multi-use pan
I bought a little 8" Zwilling Clad CFX from a friend of mine who bought 2 and loved how durable and easy to clean it is. So, when a sale came around near Thanksgiving I decided to gift myself with this larger sauté pan. It has replaced the Teflon coated pan that I have been using for years despite the signs of wear it was showing. I will be excited to replicate some dishes that I have been making using old Corning bakewear in this pan inside of the oven. I have been very happy with stovetop recipes I've been making like hash browns and eggs and another favorite of spaghetti in tomato/meat sauce. It's so easy to clean!

A great saute pan!
This is a great saute pan. An upgraded version of the Spirit collection, the Zwilling Clad CFX has a much more durable ceramic nonstick that will last much longer and is more durable. I use this a lot for one pan dinner recipes, sauteing veggies, and pan-searing foods. The tri-ply construction of this saute pan is really well made, it’s not going to be prone to warping or having hot spots in the pan. It heats up really well and retains the heat. I like the functionality of the Clad CFX, it’s combining the best of both stainless and nonstick cookware: durability, heat retention, healthy cooking and easy cleaning.

This is such a great saute pan because it has every feature I would ever look for. Not only does it have metal utensil safe nonstick ceramic coating but it also has a stay cool handle, is oven safe, has a see through glass lid and is made from thick three ply stainless steel. I've had nonstick pans in the past that always seem to lose their nonstick quality and warp in the middle when heated but this pan is so thick and sturdy it heats up evenly and the nonstick is amazing. I can practically clean it out with just a wipe of a paper towel when I'm done. I'm really pleased with this pan.

Amazing Customer Service
I have had this pan as part of a larger set for just over a year now. My lid had a defect so I called customer service. They went above and beyond to correct the situation! Not only did they send out a new lid, they also sent the pan! (Stated together they were “a unit”.) If I hadn’t already loved the set, I probably wouldn’t have even bothered calling them, but I absolutely DO love my pots and pans! Their customer service just made me a loyal customer for life!

Nice size for dinner for two or a side dish for a family dinner. Pan can be used for frying, sauteing or even for braising. The sides are nice and high, great for holding liquid. . Stainless steel surrounds an aluminum core that heats up quickly and evenly. The ceramic coating is completely chemical free and lasts 50% longer than Zwilling’s previous ceramic nonstick. Lid is tight fitting and can with stand the same temperatures as the pan, 400F.

A Must for American Life Style
Let me get straight to the point, everyone uses dishwashers in the US and we all know how convenient the dishwasher is. The problem is, dishwasher detergent actually corrodes many types of material including hard-anodized aluminum. These cookwares will eventually melt over time sooner or later. I was looking for something that can withstand the corrosion and must have a non-stick surface, so now you see where the Clad CFX series play in this role. Combining stainless steel body and ceramic non-stick cooking surface to create a perfect cookware.

Great heat transfer
Beautifully crafted, it heats evenly and quickly. The ceramic nonstick coating works perfectly and cleans easily. The pour edge helps with food transfer. The handle stays cool. The excellent heat transfer allows cooking at a lower heat. The only minor disappointment is that it is a replacement for a 6 quart chef pan, and occasionally I wish it was a bit bigger. But I’m summary, a great pan that improves saute cooking and I’m really glad we got it. I expect it to last and it’s both good looking and very functional.

lead and cadmuim free as well? ptfe and pfoa free? no any other metal such as teflon, diamond, titanum or marble or etc infused to ceramic? only 100 percent ceramic?
