Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful oval Staub The oval shape is versatile for roasting a chicken, but also great for soups or sauces. Great for cooking on the stovetop or in the oven. The cast iron heats up evenly so the oval pot on a round burner is heated evenly. The black enamel interior browns and caramelizes well. The beautiful color looks great when serving at the table or even on my cooktop when not in use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Coq Au Vin Cast iron heat retention and distribution are further enhanced by the optimal cooking performance of Staub. Black matte enameled interior is ideal fo browning and braising. Continuous self-basting spikes found on the underside of lid produce moist, tender, flavorful results. Colorful glossy enamel exterior makes for a beautiful oven to table presentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect La Mer Coq Au Vin Cocotte to cook a whole chicken in that comes out so moist and delicious. I add lots of seasonings and some vegetables to enhance the flavors. Another great cooking piece from Staub and made in France. Clean up is so easy.
