Hot spot
There was another review saying that this griddle did not conduct heat evenly. I used it for the first time today and the hot spot in the center is so bad that if you are making a sandwich, half will be burned and the other half just warm. I own several Staub products, and they are great, but this griddle is horrible.

Love, love, love! Non-stick, Browns food
I bought this because I wanted something similar to it when I was at a name brand store that carried Staub. This is as on sale on this site, so I did t care what color - white was fine for discounted price!
When this arrived, I realized how much more surface space I have to cook on, compared to my normal nonstick fry pan. I don’t need my nonstick fry pan anymore! This cleans up with soap and water, no scrubbing at all needed.
NOTE: I have an induction cooktop and this works excellent.

Great pan
Great quality as I’d expect. Perfect for charting veggies. Goes from stovetop to oven seamlessly. And I’m not sure why this red is always on sale. I love this color!

Still Learning Beautiful Well Made Product
Still discovering my griddle pan. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I followed instructions and watched videos on how to use. First time, my fried eggs were so perfect, they looked like them came from the best restaurant in town. Did nothing to season pan, but wiped it with paper towel and a little oil. After leaning, conditioned the pan and dried it thoroughly, and put it away. Second time, prepared the pan, same way. Placed the pan on low heat and when hot enough, put the marinated pork chops in pan, without drying with paper towel first, the pork chops gave off too much liquid and I did not get the crust I wanted. I tried to make the eggs again same way as before today, using same settings 3-4 (using a late model ceramic cook top oven) and prepared pan same way as before, no oil, no butter, just heat with the prepared pan. As I waited for the eggs to lift, like before, the eggs stuck to bottom of pan and I had to carefully pry them from the pan, leaving some of the egg white behind on surface of the pan. I used eggs from the same batch. The burner is same size as the pan.
I have been trying to get my beautiful pan back to like new conditions all day. Not sure how to do that. Saw a video on using baking soda and water on low heat. will try. I am hoping I did not damage the pan. It seems to have some high/low spots. I have never used high heat or metal utensils or cleaning sponges other than the softest brushes. Possibly, it may be that my stove top gets hotter than most. However, my dutch oven works great. Any help is greatly appreciated. I guess my stove top is too hot. Is there a way to check? Next time I will try to use LO or 2 and not go any higher.
