Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought this dish 6 months ago. I use it multiple times per week. I now understand the importance of good quality, heat retaining cookware. Food really does cook evenly and it crisps beautifully if you want to go that route with higher heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for desserts, sides and tapas I like this size for individual servings better that the smaller ones. Better for bigger appetites. I usually portion on gratin per two people depending on what I am making. I will often do scallops and scampi for one in this size. Lots of room for sauce, garnish. Count on the fabulous Staub quality built in. Enamel coated inside and out. No extra maintenance, no seasoning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for side dishes I love using this for side dishes because I can take it straight for the oven to the table and it is a beautiful piece of serving ware. It's great that it's made out of cast iron because it retains the heat of the oven to keep the food hot on the table. I also love how easy it is to clean because its enameled, so it doesn't need special care like regular cast iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use this pan for everything. Our (family) most favorite thing to make in it is biscuits. The heat capability of the pan is amazing - heats up quickly and evenly so everything is perfectly cooked. I have also pan fried a steak in this pan and it produces a beautiful sear. You won't believe how versatile this pan is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great round gratin dish This is the perfect serving dish for casseroles, gratins, and ratatouille recipes. I love the heritage look of the handles on this baking dish. With it being cast iron, it does a great job heating well and being versatile where it can go from stove to oven to table to fridge. A great dish to have for serving great meals.

is the measurement of this pan from handle to handle or from inside edge of dish to inside edge of dish? Thanks!

Asked by: Gimarais
The 7.5" is the measurement of the diameter of the pan, excluding the handles. With handles, the pan measures 10.2" across.
