Disappointing design flaws behind beautiful looks
These tools are distinctly beautiful. But the handle has an odd arch to it, that you can’t see in product photos. I bought 4, in two lengths and styles, and all of them have it, so it’s not an anomaly. The arch makes what should be an ambidextrous tool into an awkward, handist tool. In one hand, the spatula is jutted forward in balance, and in the other, it lags behind giving a strange feeling that it’s flexed by the ingredients it’s trying to push. The handle is also a shade too narrow and rounded, making it require more gripping force than is comfortable.

Flawless design for stirring stews, perfect scraping scrambled eggs, pancakes and crepes. Odd design, disorganzied shipping.
1) Shipping is disorganized and incomplete. I received two boxes, each containing 2 spatulas. The rest of the order (4 more spatulas) has not arrived.
2) Either there is an odd, off-set design to the wood handle or the handle is warped. The handle is bent back. Comparing the 4 I received, some are bent back more than others. If the handle design is intentional, this item would not nest nicely in a kitchen drawer.
3) It did not state at the point of ordering that sale-priced items can not be returned for credit. Information about returns is buried in the fine print on a another web page.
4) I was going to give these as an "extra" gift along with a recipe card to several friends. However, these spatuals with the odd handle look like rejects from a clearance bin in a store. I won't be giving them. I would be too embarassed.
5) On Black Friday there was a deep discount of these spatulas. Perhaps Zwilling was selling off a batch of items that did not meet their standards but sold them by trading on the Staub name.

Handle cracked in half upon spoon inspection
I received a defective spoon. Shortly after I refeived the spoon, without even using it, the handle snapped in half as I simply was trying to see if the spatula part of the spoon was removable. Very minimal pressure on the handle was applied when it snapped. So disappointing.
