Good knife
It has a nice handle that feels good while using different grips. I like the profile of the knife and really like the way the edge and blade are ground. It does great when slicing firm products but has trouble with softened ones. The tip of the blade lacks sharpness which makes precision work a little difficult. The balance of the knife is a bit towards the back and lacks some weight in the front to help with chopping. Overall its a good knife that handles about 75 to 80 percent of the things its needed for.

Great Chefs knife
This is a great knife collection. The Forged Elite Chef knife is a nice size and is the perfect all purpose knife for all your cutlery needs in the kitchen; whether it’s chopping, slicing, or dicing your different types of foods, it’s a knife you always want to have on hand. With the forged German stainless steel, you get a durable and sharp blade accented well with a comfortable handle. It’s a nice weight and at a good price point as well.

The full bolster adds balance and is the perfect resting spot for a safe grip. Nice silver cap and logo detail.

Forged from high quality German steel, this knife will have a great weight, balance and very good edge retention. The curved, molded handle is very comfortable and the metal end cap helps balance the blade.
The chef's knife is the kitchen workhorse; it can do 90% of your cutting including fruits and vegetables both large and small and slicing meats.
