Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall, fantastic set Great knife set. Between the 4 knives, you’ll have a knife for any barbecue or meat related task. The carving fork is thick, beefy, and ready for years of use. The bag/carrying is made of a thick, durable canvas, great for storing on a regular basis, and fantastic for traveling, whether to the in-laws or on vacation. The only things to note, is that the shears present are great quality, but should be relabeled as scissors. I do not think that they would survive the force necessary to get through thick bone or cartilage. Something small or thin, they’ll handle just fine. I’d personally recommend buying a solid pair of heavy duty shears, replace what’s in the bag, and use those as kitchen scissors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get Into My Kitchen! While this set indicates "barbecue carving tool set", I am immediately moving these to become a mainstay in my kitchen. The knives are weighted perfectly which makes cutting a breeze. The Carving Fork has extra-long tines which helps hold ANYTHING you put in front of them in place. Although I haven't had a chance to use the shears or the bear claws just yet, I'm so excited to put them in action! I probably use my existing shears for more than I should. However, if the ones from this set are half as good as the rest of the set, these are going to replace every set of scissors I own!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel set Wife bought me this primarily for the large buffet carver knife. Finally had a chance to ise the set. The knives are exactly as expected from Zwilling. Sharp, easy to handle, and fit their designed purpose perfectly. The case is nice and sturdy, the plastic edge guards are a nice touch. The whole set up is perfect for travel. Whether this is to a fraternal order to cook, hunting camp, or just a buddy's to cook a large meal for a party. Plus getting extra knives and amateur fork for less then the 1 knife I was going to buy. Win win for me!

These knives are fantastic. High quality. Not some light weight thin flimsy material. High quality knives you will be PROUD to showcase whenever you are in charge of carving, trimming, slicing. Also ordered the sharpener to KEEP them sharp but the arrived razor sharp.

On the bottom edge you can feel the square edge of the tang down below the edge of the handle. It is more prominent on some of the knives more than others. Also it would be nice if the carrying knife fold had a carry handle.

I tried the rib carver and it worked so much better than my other knives for getting even cuts on my ribs. The roll up bag is perfect for storing this set away with my other BBQ items.

All knives have a nice blade guard on them too. My only complaint is that the fork tines do not have a cover. Prob stick a cork on them. Overall very pleased.

It's the typical quality I expect from Zwilling and packaged in a very nice knife carrier for easy use outdoors or wherever you may need it. Also, it includes everything you might need for any type of BBQ style. Very nicely done.
