Beautiful set!
I have been using a knife set that was a gift. All the knives are serrated for some ridiculous reason, and I have never liked using them. And forget about keeping them sharp. I have dreamed about getting some good knives for quite a while. I’m so happy with this self-sharpening set! It’s very sleek and modern looking and the self sharpener really does work! I love reaching for a knife knowing it will be sharp. There is a specific way you side the knives in and out to keep them sharp, but once you get used to it, no big deal. I couldn’t be happier, and since I don’t eat meat, glad not to have all the extra steak knives taking up space!

Excellent and Exquisite Knife Set
I just recently received my knife set and I can already tell these knives are going to last me a lifetime. The unboxing experience was smooth and safe. Previously I’ve been using older knives that weren’t super sharp since I couldn’t afford them but now that I graduated college, I decided to spend a little on a new pair. I can say that they’ve been the best purchase I’ve made since graduating and I can’t see myself going back to older knives. With this new pair, they always sharpen themselves so no need to sharpen, just taken out and you’re ready to go. No more slips and half slashes into food (which I’ve cut myself a couple of times because of this) because these new knives are everlastingly sharp.

You like to have good tools at your disposal. This set s for you. It has the best of the basics in a self sharpening block. These knives will be ready when you are.
And the good news: if these knives appeal to you and the price suits you, then you just nailed it. The Definition line of Henckels International is a well-constructed collection of knives. Each knife is made from high quality stainless steel. One piece of this steel runs from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle for sturdiness and stability. The handle is arched to fit tightly into your palm, and is sculpted so your fingers in optimal position.
These are excellent knives for daily use. I hand wash all my knives so they look brand new, but they are dishwasher safe.

Amazing Knife Set!
I have been needing new knives for some time and was lucky enough to receive this set as a gift. The block is beautiful and I love the stainless steel top that has each spot labeled. The knives are made extremely well and cut wonderfully. Meal prep is a dream with these knives. I absolutely love the built in self sharpening on the block. Having dull knives is unsafe and just plain annoying and having this feature is amazing! The knives overall are great and I would expect this from any Henckels knives. I highly recommend this knife set!

This is a great knife for starting out on your own. They have the look of the traditional German knife with the comfortable and durable three rivet handle. They have a lighter constructed, fine edge blade which gives you a clean cut every time. The self sharpening block is going to help keep your knives sharp with little or no maintenance. Every time you pull one out or replace it, it sharpens the knife. The slots are labeled so you can quickly select the correct knife and return it to its home when you're finished. It coudn't be simpler.
