Versatile Utility
This is such a versatile knife because of the length and serration. It is my go-to knife for anything that is hard on the outside and soft on the inside. Think rolls, baguettes, sausage, tomatoes or oranges. Because it's serrated, I never have to worry about sharpening it. It slices through everything very cleanly. For some folks, it's the knife they use in their kitchen everyday.
The classic line is such an awesome value in that it's made of German steel, forged (stays sharper and adds weight), comfortable handle with three rivets for durability, but it's made in Spain so it's very affordable.

My favorite knife in the kitchen
I have had this knife for over 20 years. It is the best knife in my kitchen. I use it for cutting all vegetables soft and hard and just about everything I need. The warranty is fantastic to have a lifetime warranty means The company absolutely stands behind it’s excellent product..

Very Durable
This is the first German knife I've owned, and there is a huge difference in what I am used to cutting with. First of all, this knife has some weight which gives me the support I was hoping to find. I'm no longer afraid of the blade breaking when trying to cut through potatoes and carrots.. I chose the utility knife because I need a dependable knife that would not require sharpening. I use it for just about everything, from slicing fruits and vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, and slicing breads and rolls.

LOVE This - Classic 5" Serrated Utility Knife
This is one of the hardest working knives in our block. The pins have swollen and cracked the handle, which needs to be warrantied. Other then that, it is a great knife.

"5" knife actually 4 1/2"
Zwilling apparently doesn't approve of a truthful review since my last review was taken down. After much back & forth, ultimately with a very kind gentleman who called me, I was finally able to return this knife & get a refund. For some unknown reason, Zwilling doesn't accept exchanges. If they had, I would have made an exchange for the (actual) 5" Pro knife & ordered another knife. Very bad & stupid business practice.

I've had Henckels Classic knives for more than 20 years. They are terrific. They have made many great meals. These are forged knives made of quality German steel. They sharpen up nicely.
This 5-inch utility is a handy knife for quick slicing needs - a tomato, a sandwich and piece of fruit or cheese. The serrated edge makes it really efficient with crusty baguettes too. Versatile. excellent value.

Perfect for Bagels and Tomatoes
This is a great knife to slice bagels and cut tomatoes and other fruits. Perfect size at 5" for these small tasks. Serration cuts through breads leaving little crumbs and cutting a neat, even slice. Fruits and tomatoes are slice and cubed without ripping the peels and skins. German steel, made in Spain, perfect for cutting anything with a hard exterior and a soft interior

Lets go on a Picnic
This knife is sometimes referred to as the picnic knife because of it's multi uses. Take it along to slice the bread, cheese, tomato and salami.
The Classic knife line is well Classic.
Well balanced, 3 rivet handled with a full bolster this is a great knife to have in your kitchen or picnic basket.
Made from German steel in Spain this is a great knife for the value.

You didn't answer my question. I asked HOW do I use the lifetime warranty on a gifted set. This IS a manufacturer defect when the rivets are popping. In fact, you warranted this same thing on someone else (see comments/reviews section).

I already wrote a question and it was deleted. I want to use the lifetime warranty on this knife but it was a gift in a set 34 years ago (wedding gift). How do I use the warranty without receipt? The handle is cracked and the rivets are coming out.
