Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast and beautiful I have an induction stovetop and I've tried several other lines of cookware on it. If I didn't know better I would have been fine with any of those...until I tried Atlantis! The efficiency of this cookware on the inductions reminded my why I chose induction. The thick bottom maintains full contact with my stove producing more heat from the magnetic field, this is turn, allow my water to boil almost instantaneously! Liquids heat up so quickly, I'm having to learn to readjust my timing but so well worth it!. My food is cooking almost as soon as I put the water on. I imagine that the results are similar if you have gas but with induction, there is no better way to go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from un surpased The Demeyer line of cookware is beyond belief. With the lid on I can put a solid frozen 5 X 5 piece frozen spaghetti sauce w/two meatballs on the lowest heat and have them not only defrosted but heated and ready serve in 30 minutes. No boiling of the stock (like what a microwaved would do giving it's hour long defrost cycle)! When I teach my grandchildren took cook I trust they will be using my hand down Demeyer Pots and pans.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice New cookware follows a new kitchen. This 3.2 quart sauce pan is used at least three times a week. Wife loves it. Even heat, easy to clean and wife says it handles well despite the heavy weight. If you are looking for a 3.2 quart pan check out the Atlantis line. Looks amazing on our new stove also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Saucepan I read Atlantis was the best and I bought this on the recommendation. I have similar saucepan (Brand A) which I did a head to head test with the same amount of water from tap to boil. The Atlantis was 33% faster to boil water. This saucepan is a workhorse in the kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Present for me. I purchased a set of these pans and skillets for my son. I was impressed with the look and the weight of them so a bought a replacement for my 1.5 sauce pan (all clad) and just love it. It has a perfectly flat bottom so it heats evenly and with no rivets on the inside clean up is a breeze. Can’t wait to replace my 6.0. Just as additional information I purchased a 12.5 skillet last year which I totally love also. These pans are pricey but really worth the money. I can see them “seeing me out”. I use them every day pretty much and they look like new with a little Barkeepers Friend and a scour sponge.

Hi Demeyere Atlantis 2.3qt Does the handle and lid are resistance to heat? Thank you Isabella

Asked by: Isabella
Yes, the handles and lids are made of stainless steel and can be used in the oven up to 500 degrees. The handle is "stay-cool," so it should remain manageable when used on a burner (the handle will be hot if used in the oven). The lid will not stay cool when used for long periods of time.
