Description

The chef's knife from the ZWILLING TAKUMI series is a genuine original. Made in the Japanese city of Seki and featuring extra-fine Honbazuke honing by master craftsmen, this chef's knife lets you skilfully chop the finest cut material using a cradle cut technique. And all the other values of this excellent knife impress, too.

 

The TAKUMI premium chef's knife takes you to a new dimension in terms of hardness and cutting edge retention. 100 layers of our newly developed premium steel and an FC 63 core have been processed in the 20 cm blade which – with its score of 63 HRC – achieves a degree of hardness rarely seen in kitchen knives, but without compromising on flexibility.

 

In other words, its inner values are spot on. But with a Japanese premium knife, the design should, of course, not be inferior to the outstanding technical values in any aspect. The chef's knife from the ZWILLING TAKUMI series impresses here with its beautiful and individual damask pattern right from the tip. A thrill that continues right down to the handle with its noble Micarta sheathing.
