Additional Information
Knives by Bob Kramer have achieved cult status among renowned professional cooks, and stand out thanks to their large range of functions and important properties that enrich every sophisticated kitchen. The chef's knife from the ZWILLING Essential Euro series strikes the perfect balance between being remarkably sharp and durable. You can easily chop herbs and vegetables and cut meat with the 16 cm long blade, which is extremely flexible and ideally suited for everyday use. The chef’s knife is ergonomically well designed. Rounded edges and the handle’s non-slip, soft-touch plastic allow safe handling. The Kramer series chef's knife concentrates on the essentials and therefore fulfils high demands in terms of its range of functions. The blade is made from the special steel FC61 which is also used in razor blades. FC stands for ‘fine carbide’, meaning that the steel’s carbide is uniformly distributed and fine. The steel has a special structure to ensure fine cutting and highly sharp results. The blade is very durable due to the ice-hardened steel. The easy-to-clean chef’s knife can easily be sharpened using a proper grindstone. With the chef's knife from the Essential Euro series, you’re getting a sharp cutting device which can be used for many different tasks in the kitchen.
