The Fresh & Save vacuum bags are designed to work with the vacuum pump to keep food fresh up to five times longer than non-vacuum storage. Available in small, medium, and large individually or in handy sets, these bags hold a variety of portion sizes. Freeze whole dinners, reheat lunch for one, or package up fresh ingredients. The easy-zip closure ensures a tight seal and no spills, and the included liquid barrier helps to ensure liquids aren't absorbed by the vacuum pump.* With the Fresh & Save system, you can shop once a week and refrigerate or freeze fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish in our vacuum containers and bags and enjoy the benefits of your own fresh market at home. Prepare your meals days in advance and enjoy them as fresh as the day they were cooked. Cook meat sous vide or marinate meat for the grill in just 30 minutes in the vacuum bags and containers. Here's how it works: Simply fill the bag and close with the practical leak-proof zipper. Dock the vacuum pump onto the bag valve and at the push of a button extract the air in mere seconds. It stops automatically once a sufficient vacuum has been obtained. Then simply press the push button in the middle of the red silicone valve on the bag to seal it securely. Aromas and vitamins are locked in and food stays fresh up to five times longer! *available in select sets

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please don't buy the vacuum pump. If you buys it a Please don't buy the vacuum pump. If you buys it and it breaks by itself then you will have to pay for it. I bought the pump and used it for less than 4 months but it already got broken. The battery won't get charged so I can't use it. But Zwilling told me that if I want to get it fixed I need to send then it and they won't pay for the 50$ return label under the warranty policy. In addition, the money I spend to buy the multiple sub parts needed for the product have gone to waste. What if the product you bought was the fault of Zwilling but like us they won't pay for return label and also not even get it fixed or replaced if you don't have the warranty. It'd be better to just buy off of a no name brand, they'd give you better service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after one use sous vide. Primary reason I bought this fresh and save system was to use the vaccum seal bags for sous vide cooking. I used one bag for a roast, washed it by hand and attempted a second sous vide. The bag ripped and my sous vide leaked. Waste of a nice piece of meat.
