Only design flaw i found is if you’ve just boiled water and you use the handle button to open the lid, hot water drops will fall on your hand from inside the lid that goes up. It has clear water markings inside (for both left and right hand filling) and is switched on by touching the desired temperature on the digital display. While the kettle is heating, one can see what temperature the water has reached, so can judge how close it is to the desired final temperature. The kettle is quiet with a clear, not overloud beep when it turns off.

I bought this kettle 1.5 weeks ago and it now won’t turn on. I’ve wiped with lint free cloth on bottom of kettle, base unit top and bottom but nothing. Sometimes it will beep once then turn off. What troubleshooting can I do before returning for refund

Can the temperature settings be switched to Celsius degrees? We don’t use Fahrenheits   in Canada (and in a lot of countries in the world!) Thank you for your answer.
