Scissors and nippers of the ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS range of manicure products are precision instruments. With proper handling and care they will last for a long time. Incorrect use and handling on the other hand will ruin scissors and nippers. The following points should be noted:

Keep scissors clean and safe

A case or a special presentation display ensures that the instruments are kept clean and safe. Particular care must be taken to ensure that the instruments do not fall, otherwise the fine points may break or bend.

Maintaining the easy closing action

 Every now and again a drop of oil should be added to the screw slot and the joint area. Should the scissor action ever feel rough, it is also usually enough to simply add a little oil with the fingertip to the cutting area.

Regrinding by specialists only

After extensive use the cutting performance of scissors and nippers may be impaired. It is then advisable to have these instruments reground and straightened by a specialist retailer. The cutting performance of reworked scissors or nippers will be as good as new.
