Bamboo Cutting Boards – Care and Product Features
Bamboo is an innovative raw material that provides an ideal cutting surface because of its anti-bacterial properties. Bamboo cutting boards can be used on both sides for chopping and cutting about everything in the kitchen, e.g. meat, fish, bread, vegetables and fruit as well as arranging dishes like sushi or antipasti. All bamboo products can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth, warm water and a mild detergent. Then wipe the board and place it upright to dry. Regularly treat the board with cooking oil; cold-pressed oil is best because it acts as a shield against moisture and preserves the wood’s natural grains and colour. Avoid extreme temperatures and high humidity.
