There is a danger of cutting yourself badly.
Treat sharp knives with particular care when cleaning them. Never simply throw them into the washing-up water. For best results wash them directly after use under running water and dry them immediately. Dry the blade with the cloth folded over the back towards the cutting edge. Never wipe a knife along the cutting edge from the handle to the tip.
Knives need a safe storage place to prevent injuries and save the blade from damages. A knife block is the perfect answer to both requirements. A magnetic rack will also store quality knives safely and allows easy access.
When using a rack the magnets need to be powerful enough and the knives clean. A greasy or heavy knife will not cling securely to the magnet.
Keep sharp kitchen knives well away from the reach of children.
not even to test it for sharpness!
Never leave a knife on a hot plate or in direct proximity to any source of heat to avoid damages or burns.
