Original Kitchen Shears are the jack-of-all-trades in the kitchen. They were developed and patented by ZWILLING J.A. HENCKELS in 1938. Because of their outstanding quality they even set the standard nowadays.
Their advantages are:

1. Robust shears made of FRIODUR® ice-hardened special steel

The forged metal parts are made of high-grade, no-stain ice-hardened FRIODUR® steel. The Original Kitchen Shears are corrosionresistant, sharp and solid. They cut paper, foil, cardboard, flowers, twine etc., lift bottle caps and stoppers.

2. Careful surface treatment

Original Kitchen Shears have a polished surface structure. The blade inset is carefully ground. The handles are colorfully laquered or brushed.

3. Micro-Serration

The scissors have a micro-serrated upper shear blade and are accurately ground to remain sharp for a long time. The serrated blade allows an extra strong grip. The cut is effective and even.

4. Screw set

Original Kitchen Shears are fixed with steel screws. Consequently the closing action can be adjusted precisely and a specialist can, if at all necessary, regrind the scissors.

5. Large, well-formed eye ring grips

The eye rings of the Original Kitchen Shears are so large that they can be securely grasped and handled without tiring. The inner sides of the eye rings are so carefully finished that they have no burrs or rough edges. Pain-free work is guaranteed. The firmly adhesive stove-enamel finish of the handles is available in various colours and gives the scissors an attractive appearance.
